I saw the new AAs on Test server before they got bugged. Lets just say, I think the Devs read our forums

Some of you should of got patents on your ideas

I wont say anything more then that, as the beta testers should be the ones to let us know what the AAs are, after all I'm sure they have put in a lot of hard work.

Plant

The Good AAs we have are

: Adds a STA siphon to Siphon STR 57 at rank 5

: Adds a Lifetap to Harm Touch 1155 at rank 5

: Adds a Lifetap to Putrid Coil 60 a tick at rank 5

: Alternate to Pledge Decrease miti of target by 525, increses miti of caster by 350 (Says only usable on other fighters, in the same group. But currently works on anybody in the group. Hopefully it stays this way)

The 3 "end-line" skills we have ATM are all pretty useless.

: A group hate siphon (1% per rank , 3 ranks max), 3% hate transfer won't do much , will be more usefull in a DPS group to help them not get aggro then in a MT group to help us hold aggro.

: Increase bleed pool (Unconscious Hitpoints) = useless

: Reaver . May turn out good, currently useless. Adds a heal to every hostile spell we cast, but has a health cost over time. Health cost is too great atm, at rank 5 you have to cast 5 spells every 6 seconds to break even, at lower ranks, it is impossible to break even. Similar to the Necro Lich line , but without the power regen, or the damage proc.

Those are the unique ones we get, the rest are like lowering power cost of certain spells by 3% per rank, lowering reuse speeds, etc.

: The lowering power costs by 3% where pretty useless imo. who cares about taking 15 power off of Blessing.

Now any of these can change, and hopefully will. There was supposed to be a big patch to Fighter AAs on 11/2 which hasn't happened yet. It was going to change around a lot of the "end-line skills", and make the % based skills more worthwhile.

Yeah but for Raid tanking you have. You, Dirge, Healer, Healer, Healer, Assassin. Healers generate very little aggro, so you basically only get 3% from the Assassin and a little from the Dirge. = Pretty useless for tanking. Only good as a mini "flower song" in a DPS group.

Bleed pool does not give healers more time to save you. You have 0 avoidance when you are on the ground, the next hit, dot tick, etc is going to kill you.

How about No.

The reason the adds go to the healers first on MO is because nobody has aggro on them , so the heal aggro is the first thing that hits them, and the healer gets that initial aggro bonus. It is still very easy to peel the adds off the healers on this fight.

Once again, healers do not generate enough aggro to make 3% a viable MT aggro boost, and this spells main use will be as a mini flower-song.

Now there was supposed to be a big AA update on 11/2 which hasn't happened yet, so hopefully this AA will change.

Message Edited by Dogmae on 11-04-2006 06:26 PM

Aye, like Dogmae written, simple mechanics of why prehealers getting hit is basically the tank didn't put any hate on mobs and getting hit by mob (which make preheals take place).
In another word, if tank didn't get any dmg with preheal on and has put some or enough dmg/hate on each mob, prehealers (or shm grp buff ward too same as preheal) would never be touched.
That's how good tank do the pulls.

As for hate rule,

1 dmg = 1 hate

but 1 hp heal < 1 hate

Healer usually donsn't make parsing over 1k (unless templar using mark of celestial in raid) for heal parsing, too.
If you have 2 healers in group, this means Siphon Hate would be less effective than having 1 healer in group.
I have tested with very dps intensive group, but this AA seems not working or amount is just too small to make any difference.

Message Edited by MirageKnight on 11-05-2006 02:08 AM
