SK'z and Spears (still broken)?

<DIV>Though I have read that the 3 most popular AA lines seem to be STR, INT, and STA, I decided to be a rebel and go with AGI cuz it sounded kinda fun and I could always respec out of it later.  WELL! Much to my chagrin(sp), I just discovered there seems to be NO T6 spears (though I did get an ebon 1H made for me BEFORE I was aware of this, which I am stuck with now).  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I started doing some searches and there is some limited info on this from months ago, some of which points to the problem being fixed.  Well, according to my level 70 Weap smith guildie, there aren't any alternatives, and I haven't seen any dropped spears for sale on FP or Qey.  GRRR.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So.  Basiclly, I can respec and wait till T7, or just forget the stupid line and chalk it up to lesson learned.  But now I have a nice ebon spear and an old pre-24 2H spear that I'm stuck with.  I really don't wanna waste money on new ebon weaps, so what line do I start in?  I guess my only choice is really to go to the INT line.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And I have a question about that!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All the "symbols" I have found for sale on the brokers seem to have wisdom on them... rather odd for an intelligence line (unless they're trying to balance it in some way) .  Do you actually HAVE do use a 2ndary item that says "symbol" in the title, or could I use "stein of moggok" for example?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks all!</DIV>

(great, and I just respeced) I couldn't bring up your link, gonna have to research the cobalt one, and ask that wmith [Removed for Content] shez talking about.  Unless she ment no 2H spears... hum.  Going to do some more research!  </P> <P>OH! and Stein of Mog DOES work as a symbol.  I went to the INT line for now.</P>

Quite a few easily acquired T7 spears, too.. Spear of the Fire Breath and Doomsworn Pitchfork (or whatever it's called) come to mind..Also, Ishi'kurrat's Sawtooth from Halls of Fate..<div></div>

Yes, there is no two-handed crafted spear in T6. As a long time user of the cedar pike I was sorely disappointed.<div></div>

<P>Pike of Pain (fabled) is pretty cheap now cuz not many classes with their own AAs want to use it..  Nice thing about AGI line, lot of spears for sale is dirt cheap compared to swords and axes which are more popular from more classes.. </P> <P>Legendary T7 spears like Doomrage cage or something and some others sells for 30ish gp. <P>i originally went spear spec, before i even went int.  i knew i wanted int in the end so while it was free to respec i decided to try agi to see if i liked it.  well i loved it until i got the multi target front arc proc.  forgot the name.  in theory it sounded nice to have in both pvp and pve but that wasnt the case.  the mounted part of those abilities is horse [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] (no pun intended) and needs to be removed.  not only does it not work with the carpet, it especially difficult to keep it up when inside a dungeon and you die.  but back to my tale.  so im battling q's in everfrost and i cant for the life of my figure out why i keep getting these no aggro barbarians on my during the fights.  yea i just gotten that ability shortly before this.  it was procing and getting me adds.  not a big deal where i was but it could have been much more dangerous in other parts of the world.  shortly after i ditched the line and went int.  im not going up the wis line.  i might entertain the agi line later on if they change the mount requierment for the bonus' to the abilities.  that just doesnt work indoors and is therefore limited in its use and effectiveness.</P> <P>i did notice as i was leveling with agi spec that i had vary few options in spears and they were quite difficult to find and even aquire them.  there were a few you always saw for sale but they werent all that great.  almost never see mastercrafted ones for sale either.  and the pike, is it?, is only usable by both warriors, not crusaders, which is [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] since it has INT on it.</P><p>Message Edited by Tarkin-Wretched on <span class=date_text>10-31-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:22 PM</span>
