I am making my first set of rare armor and I am really torn. I was going to go devout, however there is no imbued version of that. My 2nd choice was plate due to the INT stat boosts, but there is no Imbued on that either... That leaves me with Vanguard which is nice for str and my power pool... but I hear so much on us needing INT. What do you professional wear? Does imbued make that large a difference?

never had a set of anything, just get vanguard chest and legs, devout everything else, problem solved =]you'll end up being patch work eventually might as well start sooner and get used to it.

You'll eventually look like a clown anyway and I personally try and balance my stats to avoid gaps.

I took mostly devout, imbued is not that important as SK since you have blessing and other lifetaps For a little dex i think i took vanguard helm and shoes, because so i hat at least the "set" look. On the other hand you also can go full vanguard and choose more jewlery with INT .. and as you come into higher levels your gear will more often change then in the lower tiers

It is only T3... I know what you will say that I should save my money, but I harvested all the Steel myself and I am an armorer. Other wise I would never bother judging by what I see on the forums. Does the Devout eventually become a full set? As of now its Carbonite Plate (which has int, wis, and stam) Vanguard ( Which is Str, Agil, and Stam) and then the chest and legs for Devout.

T3 .. i would say simply go vanguard and for int use jaspis jewlery, jaspis also is normally cheaper then palladium

I pretty much go with vanguard and int jewelry. A nice round lump of stats. And then I grab some fabled when I find em.

T6 wearing almost full set of devout cobalt (old fabled wrist), and still haven't regretted my choice. Since as SK I don't have same kind of personal hp regen as zerk does, I figured I better add to what my own skills are. The imbuing doesn't do that much (or enough for how I see it) on it's own.For T3, I think I did steel vanguard and whatever jewellery I had at the time. You won't be that level very long if you actively play.
Message Edited by Littleflame on 10-28-2006 09:06 AM
