<DIV>From the the most threads i can see that ppl pick the str, sta and int aa line mostly.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>R there any sk's who have picked the agi aa setup? If so, is it any worth?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>R thinking on getting the Pike of Pain, thats why im asking <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My AA setup is STA: 4/4/7 and INT 4/4/8 (only have 32 AA points atm).</DIV>

<DIV>well, my SK is a role play character, a fallen knight kinda guy so hes on horseback and outside charging things as much as possible so this line was a nice extension of his alreayd established story.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>how ever form a serious power build perspective its not optimal.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>its good fun thou outside on a horse, also few and far between are spear using tanks, so the legendary good ones are usually cheaper than sword equivilents.</DIV>

Trample is nice, but not worth actually taking the agility tree for it. We already have solid AE DPS.<div></div>

I think trample might be useful for bodyswarmers personally... they still annoy the hell outa me.main reason i avoid AGI as though that AA line doesnt even exist is because its really impractical for raiding, your bonuses are halfed if your not on horse back... which is most of the time. that and the only 1h spear i can remember from t7 is RHotHP which is way too fast for every day use.

<P>Would u still get the Pike of Pain, fabled lvl68 spear, damage rating about 96,7, 2hd even though not choosing the AGI AA setup?</P> <P>Its rather cheap, about 5-6p on broker for a fabled wep.</P> <P>Or should I wait till later and spend the money on something else? Have spend most of my time soloing, but r a lvl67 SK, so most of the time from now on I'll be in groups, prolly tanking, and then its maybe silly to pick a 2hder <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>Since this sk is my first high-lvled player, I dont know much of the weps, that drops in instances and such.</P>

<DIV>8 points in Trample is just sick damage. i recently respect'd to this line. I am currently 4/4/8 INT, 4/4/8 STA, 4/4/8 AGI. i am usually in the MT group for raids. last time we went to Labs i had the coercer dps mod on me. i outparsed the entire raid except our wizard, who only beat me by 4k. had i remembered to use Droag Master Strike, i would by far have been the top parse. going for Trample is best if you have a high damage weapon. lower damage weapons can have their damage offset by using the other AA attacks like legoinnaires smite in between casting of the regular spells. as a note, i use the Vraksakin Claw Club for raids. so critting auto attacks on 3 mobs for 3-4k is just nuts.</DIV>

<P>Veny, hows the AGI setup working indoors?</P> <P>Can see that most of the effects from the agi line will improve if on horseback...but that seems impossible indoors? <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

Pike of Pain is quite a common drop, but one of the few if not the only tradable fabled spear.if you can afford it and would use it with the AGI line, its probably a good purchase.

If you use a spear as your main weapon you have a nice advantage of utilizing Trample and the Joust AA attack.</P>

<div></div>Trample :Buff that has a chance to attack up to 4 targets surrounding the cavilier. This ability is <font color="#ff3366">increased</font> when on horseback. *Gives the auto-attack function a chance to attack up to 4 diffrent targets. *Applies Horse Trample. *Gives the auto-attack function a chance to attack up to 4 diffrent targets. *<font color="#ccff00">Must be on horseback to use this ability. I  <font color="#ffffff">read this as stating the base buff will work while not on horseback, just not as effective . I dont think its bugged per se.</font></font>

I went with Agi for quite some time before leaving it but I can vouch for indoor activity. It applies indoors because technically when you go inside anywhere your horse icon is still up, your run speed bonus is just removed. The double trample effect still applies and kicks [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] until you die. Not too big of a deal if your group wipes and you will likely be at the beginning of the zone to exit/reapply/re-enter. If your rezzed however or on a raid well your just sol unfortunately. I agree with Xanoth for it's uses and it does indeed have good potential regardless of the bashing the line gets sometimes.

Side question: Does the AGI line work with a carpet as well or just with horse mounts?<div></div>

<DIV>I have now chosen the AGI line for the horse trample effect. When switching from horse to carpet, u loose the bonus effect from being on a horse, so it works only a horse or zoning into an instance while being on a horse.</DIV>
