<DIV>My alt SK is lvl 27 atm, he has mastercrafted armor(exept for fable boots) mastercrafted shield and sword of thunder. I'm finding it really hard to pay for my SK's equipment every tier, since my main is not lvl 70 yet. </DIV> <DIV>I'm almost in tier 4(feysteel) with my SK, which means i'll need new armor/weapons/spells. The lvl 32 feysteel armor set comes with +str +sta and +agi, and will cost me nearly 4 plat.</DIV> <DIV>I was wondering if getting armor with +str and +int instead of spending 4p on the tier 4 set would have the same benefit. I see alot of SK's around with more sta/str and agi then int, is this a smart thing to do? Most of our CA's are pure disease damage.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Simply because it looks better, and went for caster jewelry to even it out a bit. My sk has been funding his own twinking all the way so far. (Not that hard to do since I use him for harvesting and my armorer takes forever to grind 10 levels, so I usually get the rares I need while Im out theregrabbing the raws for grinding.)</div>

You should at least get the brestplate and leggings with str/dex because the int-version cannot be imbued. A good way to push you int is also jewlery because at least on my server, the rares for the int-jewlery were mostly cheaper then what you need für the str-jewlery <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Yeah, STR/AGI/STA armor with INT/WIS/STA jewelry seems to be a pretty good way to go. I've seen a few lower level SKs working up this way.Imbues are essential. They will mean the difference between life or death in a close fight. <div></div>

My advice to raise that cash would be to harvest and sell the rares. They tend to sell pretty well on the broker. Like Meryddian said, keep the stuff you can use and maybe start working your armorsmith TS. I have a 35 AS and it literally took me about 2 days to get there. The hardest part is keeping enough material around to craft with.</P> <P>As far as what to look for in your armor? You can boost your Int and wisdom through jewelry and such. If it's a matter of being strapped for cash, and you're intent on buying your armor, I'd say upgrade everything to pristine non rare (jewelry, armor, and weapons) and then see what you have left over. If you have enough, buy chest and legs (imbued if you can) .</P>

Example .. for Level 42 you can get Rallosioan Steel as 1-h wepon from a quest in Feerott or maybe buy it for 4-10g at the broker and its comparable to an ebon weapon. Also Shadowed Protector of Na is a nice shield that drops from one named in the Obelisk .. and also is often in the broker for around 10g, while comparable to ebon <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><BR>

finishing shiny brass shield is also a good idea (although unless you like drawing attention to yourself, not so great for PP due to the glow), DFC is easier than ever, last time i went we completed it when fyst was blue con with my swashy tanking and with only 4 people

<DIV>Is there any way to up the heals for SKs? If so what stat would boost them. I know STR increases CA and Auto-attack damage and INT increases spell damage.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Can anyone update me on what the other stats do for an SK (im brand new at being one)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advanced! :smileywink:</DIV>

no stat incraese heal amountthe INT AA ability would help a litle, but its still not overly worth the points IMO

<div><blockquote><hr>Xanoth wrote:no stat incraese heal amountthe INT AA ability would help a litle, but its still not overly worth the points IMO<hr></blockquote>With lifetaps a crit spell will result in a crit heal. So giving yourself 68% chance to crit with spells is a great way to crit 68% of the time with your heals. This doesn't apply to potions or armor procs, but applies to all of the spells we have that we can use to heal ourselves.Except Fetid Smite ... it's says it's a spell, but it really is a combat art.</div>

true but having a seporate 68% means when our life taps dont crit the heal part still might crit. also crit heals effect reactives that we proc, such as a templars group heal proc. basically any heal which considers the crusader to be the caster.
