My SK just hit lvl 10. I'm working through the Sunken City quests. However, I'm finding it extremely difficult to take on white mobs and even blue mobs give me a difficult fight. I've purchased new armor and a new weapon / shield, but the SK seems suddenly to be underpowered. What am I doing wrong? <div></div>

The shadow knight's tools of soloing are lifetaps and the reactive damage shield, and I think at that point you might only have one lifetap.Basically just blow through it with quests and stuff as fast as you can until you hit the late teens, which is when you get your second version of most spells and things start picking up more. Also you mentioned armor, usually for tanks I just pick up the iron platemail off the armorsmith NPCs, it has pretty decent mitigation and it's cheap. Lacks stats, but that's not terribly important at level 10. Make sure that what you're using is at least as good as that, and if not, upgrade to it. Check out the NPC weaponsmiths too for the same reason. The broker might have some cheap iron gear for you to buy too, and it's better than the NPC stuff, but I wouldn't waste more than a couple silver. As you do the quests you'll get some other armor pieces to fill in on top of the cheap temporary gear you bought. </div>

Jepp .. as soon as you get blessing the fun begins .. at level 14 i think you can also take it as master 2 choice <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Yeah at 14 you get your first wind of what the sks are like. And at 20, you will get the thing everyone loves to hate about us. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

I had the same issue. Then I looked at my armor and was still using my Newbish Armor, Soo at 10 I bought all new armor and it was cake from there. SK and same with other Heavy Tanks out there We are very Armor/Weapon Dependent and need to keep them up to par with your level as much as you can.<div></div>

I made the mistake of buying vendor trash.....buy mastercrafted at level 12 of everything or mine your own rares and make your armor weapons(outfiiter) your spells and jewelry(scholar). Blackened iron and adept3 spells are the key to your success.

I found hitting level 20 was a real eye opener. By level 25 I was soloing Fallen Gate and doing the named easily at level 28.The AE's and Reactive Damage Shield (Infernal Blessing I think) make life great fun.
