so I hit 50, should I lock? I hear about the resist issues in T7 and I am curious if this is a major issue for the "caster tank"...anyone have any input on SK spells vs high end resists?

It gets pretty damned bad fighting a melee class with 7000+ disease, but those're relatively rare. You'll probably be doing group PvP, and you can still land stuff on them once Agony and Sacrilege stick, so I wouldn't be too concerned. Gear up, get Masters, and roll with a solid PvP crew. Solo, you can handle anyone below 5k DR pretty reliably, especially with Death March and Pestilent Touch.

I don't get resisted a lot, but my spells dont hit for anywhere near the full potential. However, solo I haven't lost a fight to anyone recently except for a monk. I don't get a whole lot of PvP on this toon as t7 is pretty dead for PvP imo-my t3 brig gets 40 kills in a day with out trying to hard, if I get to hit 6 people on the SK im stoked. I prefer to solo for PvP so I may have a negative view on capping at 50.
