Hey all, I recently rolled a pally on Oasis to duo with a RL friends warden. I know both are the more defensive of their subclass and was just wondering wether or not i should betray and become a SK. I do like playing the pally class and so far (up to 14) we have been successful in fighting even heroic mobs. i was just wondering if this is going to eventually become impossible because of our low dps. just wanted some suggestions thanks!!<div></div>

Hehe.. were just playing in Feerrott with my level 38 bruiser and a Warlock of a friend .. and we always saw two persons there who really  had problems take down a bitterbloom or whatever .. after inspecting it were a Pala and an Inqui .. lol. Ok.. what i want to say .. Pala/Warden may have more healpower to bore mobs to deatrh, but if you want to have fun and kill something in time i would suggest at least to take an SK .. and better SK Fury for a duo <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

SK/Fury is probably the most fun duo. At higher levels you'll have group invis and evac, not to mention the FD to get you out of a tight spot.<div></div>

Imo i would go SK...partially because i'm evil at heart but honestly they have better dps at higher lvls...lower lvls there's not much of a difference though.  the lifetaps and lifetap ward helps to heal so you won't be losing out on all healing abilities...i duo'ed a lot with a fury from around lvl 38-low 50s and was able to take out lots of named mobs and pretty good xp...

<DIV>I'd choose an SK. Slightly higher dammage, dammage shields for the duo-mate in a pinch,  slow, FD, nice Aoes, and evac...perfect for most duo combos.</DIV>

ooo yeah...love that combo. I duo often with a fury. His freind is a warden though, I don't group often with wardens., do they get that as well?

Off topic but I'll have to say that Ranger/SK duo is a lot of fun, too.  I always run my SK with my girlfriend's Ranger and it's a blast.

<blockquote><hr>Doog wrote:<P>I duo a SK/ Warden, and I don't get invis -(</P><hr></blockquote>nope, but you do have two evacs, can always compensate lack of group invis with totems

SK and Fury absolutely rock as a duo.I was mentoring down to help my gf's Fury get some exp in Varsoon.  She started at 32, and in roughly 90 minutes she was 35 and we'd pretty easily gone through the majority of the zone and wasted Varsoon (We were at level 34 at the time).  We also got three Master chests on the run.  (Two from Varsoon's instance alone)SK/Fury packs one hell of an offensive punch for a tank/healer combo.  The versatility that can hurt a multidimensional class when they're called upon to perform a single-purpose function is incredibly useful while duoing.Of course, this was helped somewhat by the fact that mentoring down a pretty well equipped T7 character is always more effective than actually being at that level. <div></div>

I mentored my 70 into the Wailing Caves once and we literally ran out of spawns. Everyone dinged like eight times over the course of an hour <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

Well, we started at the lower level... Not really our fault if she had hit 34 by the time we got down to Varsoon's room!<div></div>

I am a 53 SK and have been duoing with my wife's 53 warden. Well, I have tried duoing wither her using a pally and a fury and other combo. Seems like SK and warden is the best, Warden can heal and buff, SK can tuant, hold aggro and down mob faster then Pally. I would recommend SK with Warden, the warden is pretty defensive and you definitely need the SK's higher DPS to balance and down mob faster. When duoing with Warden i usually go all out offensive, ie offensive stance and 2hander.Exosus53 SK blackburrow<div></div>
