Has anyone successfully finished Nizara as MT, and what was your group config? I'm at a loss and tired of wrecking gear. Has anyone tried the Symbol of Mystic Etchings with Planar Axe, Swiftaxe and Legionnaire's Smite and if so, how are your numbers? That is all

I'm on a PvP server so I only have evil/neutral classes to choose from. Group make-up is the best thing you can do to succeed in there. Try the following:

SK

Defiler

Fury

Dirge

Brigand

Coercer

The coercer should make a night & day difference in there for you letting you deal w/ only 1 mob instead of 2 or 3 at a time. You will get max hate, max regen, stoneskin from the Dirge & Coercer along w/ their other nice buffs. The fury will make up for you intelligence in defensive stance, buff your heat resists(Flame Claw) & increase your DPS. She can also drop Urchin on you to help stabalize the pull & have her cancel it once the mobs eat through the wards. The Brig brings Dispatch, immunity to AoE (himself) & DPS among all their other nice skills. Their is no huge DPS makers in that grp setup, but plenty of synergy & buffage for the SK w/ enuff DPS to take the mobs down 1 by 1 slow & steady.

Also you may want to make sure you target the following mobs first in your encounters: a Nizari bather, a Nizari koi watcher, a relaxing Nizari. I think those mobs are the ones that use Flame Claw.

As far as what gear to wear/weapon config. Use the best stuff you have for a tanking roll. Good Luck.

Message Edited by Notorious_GIB on 08-23-2006 10:19 PM

The tank in my Nizara grp is SK, and we finish it successfully.SKInquiDefilerFuryIlluMe (Swashi)Having an Illu/Coercer with you is maybe the most important thing in your grp setup, they make the diffrence.

can't say i've been with my SK since the first day of the AP... Nizara brought my Illu out of retirement, still enjoy that zone with him, its th only zone that actualy feels like you have to pay attention rather than watch tv and mash butons... mashing buttons faster if possible.you can probably get awa without using a chanter, but you'd have to have at elast two toher classes with root/mez to make life as simple as it would be with a chanter.quite a nice group set up that DocEvil posted though.

3 Healers & a mezzer - I would hope so :smileyvery-happy:

Did it 2 times and never going back unless I have to for a freind. The zone is just to buggy. The last encounter is fun for the disco effect but not really as hard as it looks.

SK

Monk

Coercer

Templar

Bigand

Warden
