The change to Pox Sword is awesome...the +Disruption is a wonderful addition to the spell, and in that same veign, why not add +Focus to the SK and Pally Defensive stance? It would fit in perfect with the Offensive stance, and just as the Disruption will help a lot in landing spells, adding Focus to our Defensive stance will help with the abudance of interrupts that Crusaders experience while tanking. Being a spell-based tanking class it only makes sense in my opinion. The +32 Focus when we go below 50% from our first AA is kind of counter-productive if you ask me, maybe we could get +Focus to our Def stance and have our first AA changed slightly...maybe to a permenant 1% chance to proc a lifetap on hostile spells? Or a 12% chance to proc a lifetap if we are below 50%. Just a suggestion What do you all think?

Message Edited by Razerblaze on 08-21-2006 10:30 AM

I'd have to agree i mentioned a possible +focus on defencive stance when celebrating the offencive stance change. would be nice to see, and logical too.not sure if a proc would be appropriate for our default AA, most classes dont get something too useful, and it also needs to be suitable for a paladin too, which life taps aren't. can't really think of anything fitting, and not sure what other classes get to compair effectiveness. would have to be relativly superficial though as all rogues get is pick pockets...

Hm.. on the other hand .. we should be happy as long as our defense stance not decreases our disruption :smileysurprised:

Whenever SK is on defensive stance, SK probably want to hold aggro more.
But current defensive stance won't give any INT at all. Knowing SK need to make dmg to hold aggro because SK lacks other hate utility, this stance is poorly designed for SK.

I would like to see some hate modification with defensive stance if re-itemization (which add INT for plate parts) is hard to do.

Like +30% on threat by dmg/hate.

Focus (which make less interrupts) and +Discrutpion (which make less fizzle and resist) sure help for tanking but I would think this is impact is too small to notice.

Related my post on defensive stance:

SK Tanking : defensive stance + 1hand + shield Dilemma
http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=9&message.id=23651

In reference to a possible AA change, and this is just a guess but, I have a feeling as different AA trees are introduced, they are going to be more and more class specific. EQ1 started out that way as well and while I hate using an older game for a possible reference, I have the feeling that the first tree like it is now, being generic, is just paving the way for the next trees that will likely get more and more specific to the class. So we might end up seeing something to that degree down the line. Just a thought.
