I know this might sound like real noob questions, but there does not seem to be a place you can find this info.I have just started getting involved in raids and I find they are a lot of fun. With my warlock the assignment is easy, nuke like crazy, but don't pull aggro. But with a SK, I don't always know what I am supposed to be doing. So my questions are:1. What does the "main assist" supposed to do?2. If I am not MT, am I supposed to be using my taunts? I know I probably won't pull aggro, but should I be using them or just trying to do damage as fast as I can.3. Is it a good idea to use the pet, the debuff, mana sieve, etc? And when should I be using them, everytime they are up, at the beginning of the fight or at the end.4. If I am not in the MT group, who should get my MIT buff and avoidance buff?Think that covers it. If anyone knows of a good Raiding 101 type post/web site, I would be grateful for that link.Thanks,<div></div>

If you are a backup tank your taunts would keep you high on the aggro list so keep at it. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Otherwise the mob will prolly be at max debuff anyway. Depends on raid setup though. But if so is the case youc an use your power for dps. 3. Well, use the pet at the right times to get the most out of it. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> But yeah, use it if you feel its worth it. 4. Depends entirely on the group.<div></div>

A knowledge of the raid and the encounters is a must, as some raid mobs need to be killed before others. This is a pretty important job and should be given to someone who has no reason to change targets. Unfortunately, since we can ward/intervene the MT and FD aggro pullers, we're not the best choice for this.2. Depends on the raid's strategy. In general if you aren't the MT or one of the backup tanks (if any) then you shouldn't taunt. Pulling aggro is bad, as epic mobs have nasty ripostes and barrages. You do not want to have one facing the raid. Sometimes, if our MT has some great aggro buffs, I'll throw an occiasional AOE taunt/debuff before I use some disease nukes. Use this at your own risk.3. Yup. Your pet is now just another DOT, and a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] good one. Use it whenever you can. Epic mobs have such huge power pools that Mana Seive doesn't affect them at all. Only use it to keep your power replenished. The Despoil line, definately use this as soon as you can in a fight, it's a nice debuff. Siphon Might and Agony are also good debuffs, but I don't see as big an impact on raid mobs. Still, doesn't hurt to use them.4. If you are a backup tank, don't give your mit away. If you are in the MT group, give them your mitigation. Otherwise, I tend to give my avoidance to aggro hungry scouts. Here's a link that might help you out:http://www.raidwiki.org/wiki/index.php/Raid_Academy</div>
