problem is with avoidance is that its unreliable compared with mitigation.obviously if you drop your avoidance from 50% to 25% your probably going to have to depend on your mit twice as often.so while you should always choose a mit increase over an avoidance increase, i would try tanking epics withou a shield <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />if you want to use a symbol hot bar the item next to your smite attak, and clik if first, then switch back to your shield (hotbar that too somewhere handy).as for pure numbers, i dont think any really exist because avoidance isn't that reliable.www.eq2i.com has a decent write up on how things are calculated, it might help, not sure.
