Where can I get some plate with decent INT stats? When I do find something with decent INT, it almost always has very lousy STR or AGL. For the most part inteligence plate also uses the stats wisdom and stamina. But for tanking we need a hefty amount of agility to up our avoidance, and strength is also nice (plate aint light, besides i do like to do some meele). I looked up the shadowknight class fabled plate drops (not that level yet anyway), but even that barely has any int! and the few pieces that do have it skimp on the strength stamina and agility, sigh...So I wonder if my veteran shadowknights have put together a good list of gear with a good mix of stats, and most especially inteligence as I person cant get enough of the stat, after all we are mostly casters, we just wear plate. =)

/sighTell me about it...the only int plate that i know of that doesnt come from raiding is the devout player crafted armour, which is ok, but the mit is really low compared to what else is available. its hard enough trying to get raid dropped fabled plate with int on, never mind anything else.either the hat quest helm or the vaults dropped helm offers int, possibly both do. also the claymore reward pants and wrists both offer int (i think), possibly chest too. but thats all i can think of with out giving myself a brain haemorrhage.
Message Edited by Xanoth on 08-16-2006 12:27 PM

I dont have much INT plate gear. I get most of my INT from my stance and from jewelry. STR and STA I get from my plate armor. INT jewelry is fairly easy to come by, just gotta check on brokers.

Hmmm, so maybe thats whats really hurting the classes dps more then anything else, poor itemization. I have often thought on paper the class does seem very well designed. In that if all stats were maxxed, we truly would have the most power of the fighters (as we should) and we would not need to read as many posts comparing us to berserkers CAs with their strength capped. Cap our int and our strength and we might even surpass a berserker.I really wish we got power from str and int instead of wisdom. Most plate pieces have huge resists on them anyway that the tiny amount of wis on them cant compare too. The class raid drops (fabled tier 7) for ALL fighters should follow the +25 to each stat. As each fighter class does benefit from every stat, some more then others. 1. All fighters benefit from wisdom for resists, crusaders just get some more power. 2. All fighters benefit from strength for meele damage, brawlers and warriors more due to more meele CA's.3. All fighters benefit from stamina for health, same all around I think.4. All fighters benefit from agility for avoidance, difficult to say if brawlers need this more or just as much eh.5. All fighters benefit from inteligence for procs (very few combat arts), crusaders just get more use towards their spells. So there you have it! Each fighter group benefits from each stat, and the bonuses to a certain group for certain stats balanaces out as well! Well, except in the case of agility for brawlers, maybe they should get some mitigation from it as well.So add fabled armor with a hefty amount of each stat and im sure no class would complain. Who wouldnt like having a little boost here and there.

Just waste 8 AA to get +64 INT from AA line.. Problem solved. heh. Be glad that SK got most bang of INT per AA. +8 INT for just 1 AA compared to mages paying 1 AA for +4 INT.

Message Edited by Nocifer Deathblade on 08-17-2006 09:54 AM
