I betrayed to Shadow Knight at 55, and have made/bought all the spells I think. But comparing to what my Paladin had, I seem to be missing a taunt. Is this the full list of SK hate gain lines:

Insidious Whisper(45) - Single Target Taunt (over time). (pal equiv: Clarion Call (45) - same timer as Splitpaw spell Goading Gesture, so scapped Goading Gesture

Blasphemy(50) - Encounter Taunt and disease debuff (paladin equivalent: Zealous Preaching(50)

Infernal Caress (52) - Damage Shield. (paladin equivalent: Sigil of Heroism - group hate siphon (52))

Catastrophic Slam (55) - Shield bash Stun/Taunt (paladin equivalent: Righteous Dash(55))

Rescue(25) - shared with all fighters

As you can see they are a 1 : 1 identical to paladin, although Sigil/Caress might be a stretch.I can't though see a SK equivalent of Amends (49) Single Target hate siphon. And thats a huge difference

So superior DPS has to make up the difference? Or did I miss one?

Pretty sure you didn't miss one. I personally find that when tanking in a group I have to dish out a decent amount of DPS to keep aggro, especially on higher level or equal con mobs since I'm in defensive stance. When fighting greens and such in a group I usually shift over into offensive stance where I can usually keep up with the assassins in my group DPS wise (this is at 49 still...and sometimes I can do this in defensive stance too). If all I do is rotate my 3 taunts with auto-attack, it's seems impossible to keep up with most DPS classes equally geared like I am. The problem, usually, is even with level 50 or 60 food/drink on (at 49) I still chew through power like no other and end up making others wait on me before I can resume pulling mobs. If I don't go all out like this and use my power I don't keep aggro. I've ultimately resorted to just using the power, and also using Spirit Totems of the Hawk to suppliment my 75 power regen drink (level 50) with an additional +60 for faster regeneration. Just my experiences so far.

well we do have FD - which cancells all agro against a person for 20secs (usually plenty of time to get aggro back from them-- yes i know its a utility but it only has a 5 min recast - which meas you can use it twice when you would use rescue - and 3 times per HT (though realisticly - you dont)

I did think of FakeDeath, but figured that was more in line with paladins Resurrect. With HarmTouch being the LayOfHands equivalent.NVM. Glad I didn't miss one. Is still a blast to play. More debuffs, more dps and Evac when things get out of hand.... :smileywink:

Our FD is an ability that we obtain in our 20's that upgrades with us =D. But yes, you have all of your taunts bud =D. Enjoy this class, it's a blast despite what others may say .
