"Symbols can no longer be used with shield-required attacks for paladins and shadowknights"Ok its only one attack but could they stop taking away things and start adding them some day? please oh please? Sux tho cuz I pvp with a symbol alot and will be annyoing see a greyed out button on my hotbar now<div></div>

Actually they DID add something a while ago...Remember when Agony was 2h only?  They made if a normal CA, so in effect we only 'lost' something to make up for an extra attack we gained.  And if that's not enough, use the AA Smite attack and you're golden.  It only makes sense if you think about it.  Hmmm would I rather shoulder charge someone with a metal kite shield with a spike in the middle of it, or hockey check someone while holding a rock lashed to a stick, a book, or an incense burner attached to a chain?  You make the call, but personally I'd take the shield <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

I wonder why it took so long to actually firgure this out? It took them even longer to find out about our running cast abilities. Was really [Removed for Content] about the running cast thing. Now I am a little peeved this happened. Really need to throw us a bone here, we lack mobility in the ranged department. Give us a sling shot or something.... give us the ability to throw pieces of adamantine at mobs..... just make sure we can move while we do it. <div></div>

in all honesty i was supprised i could use shield bash with a symbol, and expected the change... just like with the 100% spell crit, something just didnt seem right =/

The symbol thing is for non-tanking situations.<BR> <HR> </BLOCKQUOTE><BR>Look at the AP skill Reflect.    It only works with a symbol in your secondary (can't take it off after you click the buff or it wont work).   And what you may fail to ralize is that it says it only reflects "profession" spells.   Profession spells are spells that players can cast,  so it won't work on AE's or even some special mob abilities.   It says "Reflects the next profession spell that targets the Legionnaire"  so if it is reflecting anything when you aren't tanking (or have aggro)  then it is not working as intended.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also as a SK it will be your job to stay near the top of the hate list so when the MT dies, you can take over before the mob kills half the raid.  So you should be taunting the whole fight  to keep yourself close to the top.  The damage you gain from smite does not make up for the hate loss from the shield.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now is this change class breaking? So many Qs run from me its not even funny, and I can do absolutely nothing about it. Thats why I want mobility when doing ranged attacks. I hate not being able to attack a Queerosian because just because I am chasing after him. Yes we have a snare, but the casting time is long as hell. I will admit having all our spells able to cast on the move was a little overpowered. I would be satisfied with just one spell being able to be cast on the run (besides our STR tap, it does no damage). Plus we have no ranged weapons at all. I wouldnt mind having the INT line ranged spell mobile as long as you have a symbol in your off hand.</div>
