Partner for SK

<DIV>My wife wants to make a shadowknight, and I have been thinking about making a brigand to accompany her. Reading the forums, though, I see that the SK has some nice AoE attacks to take on multiple-mob encounters with. I would more suggest to take a Fury .. so you have a healer that also has some nice AoE Attacks later .. also Fury has nice Int Buffs. The best dps i ever hit till now was 1600 while duoing with a Fury <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Well just to confirm, the SK/brigand combo is awesome. At least for my fiance and I and we do kick much butt <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I would elaborate but I was only on here looking for a combat art upgrade list and sadly did not find one and am in a hurry..good luck on whatever you choose. <DIV>The beauty of the Sk class is that we can duo effectivly with any other class, even an SK/SK dup is sufficient. But yea, to maximize the duo, an SK/Fury is still the best combo, arguably the best duo of any classes in the game.</DIV>

<DIV>I've always had good experiences with an SK / Defiler or SK / Inquisitor combo. Never much liked Furies or Wardens, because of the lack of significant HP buffs. The mitigation buffs sure are nice, however, and I love regen.</DIV>

I've been duoing with a friend who made a Warden, and it's great.  I know a lot of people are saying to duo with a Fury, but I'd rather have a Warden.  Their better healers which means we can fight harder stuff.  Sure Furies have a bit more dps, but it's nothing huge like it's often made out to be.<div></div>

<P>As shown in the responses, you have  two real paths, sk with healer or sk with dps</P> <P>For SK with healer most folks like fury.  Healer duo allows you to take on bigger heroic groups and higher level nameds and is safer.  The kills go much slower</P> <P>SK with DPS lets you plow through solo mobs and blue heroic groups at a much faster rate then the healer combo.  The xp is much faster but you are more limited in your ability to take even con heroics or nameds</P> <P>It comes down to a matter of play preference.</P> <P>For the dps combo, i duo my 70SK with my wifes 66 necro.   I find the combined disease debuffs to work well with both characters abilities.   As an added bonus, the necro can heal.   It is also a better class to 2 box with when she is at work and I want to pair up for a named or green instance run</P>

<DIV>My personal favorite classes to duo with were the furies and coercers. I know the latter is a bit odd, but man. Me and a buddy of mine have duoed the entirety of RE back in the day before he stopped playing his coercer. Talk about FUN. Some stuff was pretty close, but that's how I like it =D. Challenging. If you want a healer combo, go with either a druid or inquisitor. Both have their pros and cons, just experiement if you like and find what you'll enjoy. =D</DIV>

<DIV>I play a 63 sk as my main and I two box with a Warden. I've found this to be an AMAZING combo!  The Warden's mitigation buffs help out a lot.
