<div></div>Thought it might be fun to share our worst favorite type of people to group with. Just to get it off your chest and have a chuckle. Here's mine. These flipping cloth wearing, fingler wiggling idiots in your group who are just never happy with any amount of XP regardless of how smooth its going. You know the ones? You're pleasantly pulling yellow double up heroic groups, and tripple ups having a good ole time. Raking in the XP. And there's always some [Removed for Content] who decides this XP sux lets go over here and do these! Pulls you to orange tripple ups and says "You can tank those!"Hrm.. lets see jackhole have you been playing my toon for 50+ levels? Do you even have a clue what he cons to me or what that means to a tank type? Are you high? Whats wrong with these morons? I don't like to be rude to people, unless they beg for it. So I'll just tell them that we plate types don't mitigate as much damage from an orange con as we do a yellow or white and I'll likely a) die before my own heals+healers heals can do thier stuff, or b) we'll end up taking power breaks twice as often as we should need to.*shrug* just felt the need to rant. And while I'm at it, I hate DPS class players that open up with thier biggest can of whoop-[Removed for Content] as the mob is being pulled....<div></div>

<P>Was in fallen gate a long time ago, and we have thought our way down to where the constructs are.<BR>We all stand in the corridor the tank pulls the mob, tricks it into the corridor where the rest of us wait and beat the crap out of it.<BR>All is well.</P> <P>Then suddenly the tank runs of thru 2 groups and starts attacking a third. Everything aggro him. And he stays out there.<BR>So the healer has to run out to him to heal him. He gets another group to aggro him, and just chaos. The only good thing about it is that with the whole cave aggro our little group we don't have to endure it for very long, we get one of the fastes group whipes I have ever seen.</P> <P>We all revive and ask out tank what the h*** he was thinking, answere: I needed thoose for a quest. Doh<BR>--------------------</P> <P>Second:anyone except the tank that pulls, mages and rangers on the top list.<BR>Its great being the healer in the group and see the tank pull a full yellow group 3 arrows up and at the sametime see both the ranger and the mage do the same thing (different groups ofcourse). And afterwards they tell me that I'm a bad healer that couldn't keep everyone alive.</P> <P>hmm re-read your subject... sorry missed the part "when you're the mt"</P><p>Message Edited by uberpaco on <span class=date_text>06-22-2006</span> <span class=time_text>12:22 AM</span>

Palidans of any level. I had this stupid pally in a group in SS follow me out when I was pulling raptors. His argument that he was keeping me buffed. Hell, I was hitting them with the snare to wake them up, and leisurely walking back to the group. When I told him to sit, he dropped like a bad habit. Now that I think longer on this subject... any other tank class is the worst. They keep using thier taunts, and finishing HOs for me. Hell, I've had other MTs say I did a good job by not doing that sort of behaviour. Seems logical to me... Not MT? Don't taunt. Keep your taunts alive and whole for when they lose agro... And yes... they will lose agro... the sad sacks they are... Playing goodie two shoes with their Qeynos rolled panty waists... Necros are my second least favorite types. Usually run by Timmy the Power Gamer.... Crying whining sacks of <no need to haxor this explative> manure. Let's use our most aggresive pet... whine when it dies... whine when the xp isn't enough... whine when others need a power break... whine when they pull agro... man... thinking about it, Necros are moving up my list of least favorites to group with.Hell, I'll let some schmuck die who pulls agro off of me. He's the [Removed for Content]... let him eat dirt so we can finish the mob. The ONLY person in the group I'll climb over myself to keep alive is the healer... and a few tells into a group my healer is doing their job like a champ. Last but not least... Frogloks. Unless they're monks... it's funny watching a froglock do the kata thing.PS. I usually send a tell to my healer to ignore the other tank if they keep pulling agro when it doesn't need to happen. Rezzing is easier for them then swtiching mid fight. Once the other fighter is groaning into the ground... I get my agro back. <div></div>

<DIV>The jerkoff who is 1 level below me and since I have less HP they want to main tank. And when they PROCLAIM that they will tank I check there gear and it's level 30 crafted in a 40+ zone we are fighting. I end up using FD on them when the healer can't keep up I am forced to taunt the whole time because I know he is going to die. This is also the same [Removed for Content] who says these mobs are not giving enough exp and tries to take somthing red to me and dies and I have to save the day and use my 15min taunt to get agro off my healer and then I end up either barley winning or dieing. and The tank blames ME for the wipe!!!! O and I almost forgot I hate the the ranger WHO THINKS THERE A TANK AND LOVES TO PULL WHEN I AM ALREADY OUT PULLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks I feel better</DIV>

<DIV>Worst kinds of people~</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> Well there are two types that my wife and I run across constantly. She plays a Fury and I of course play my Sk and I always tank. There is a wonderful sense of satisfaction when you make your own groups and you and your wife play the two key classes. It means people that fall under the below catagories get kicked.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> First type and someone who I rarely even invite to groups is a Guardian or Zerker. For some odd reason they just "think" they should be tanking. They usually aren't amazing in anything mitigation, hps, actual player skill. Hell most we run across are lower mitigation unless its a guardian in his mitigation stance thingy. These people always seem to try and give us "tips" on how we could be better. Never mind that our group might have been pulling for hours with no deaths and 4-5 dings. Oh no, this chap has ideas, which sometimes leads to him trying to taunt or even pulling! Needless to say we boot these people after polite conversations...in the middle of mobs or right before he goes off to pull again and watch them die. Mean? Maybe, but I can say the people that do this keep falling behind in lvls so there must be something to it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> Second is the DPS guy that just doesn't get it. Or as we call them "the DPS who doesn't actually know how to play" class. These are the ones opening up with thie big nukes, ranged attacks or stealth hits as you pull... Mind you I don't always pull with taunt depending on range, face pulling, etc. So these guys get aggro, I have to taunt it off and the healer is draining her power leading to downtime. Since we have guild Rangers, Necromancers and Wizards that we group with I know all these classes can do great DPS and never pull aggro. But we have solutions for these folks! We call it watch them die and then continue on fighting. I pull with Coil, Anger whatever and they get aggro before the mob reaches us, no problem! My wife (the Fury) and I watch the DPS die, then I taunt the mob and we kill it. Afterwards we rez the DPS after he agrees not to be a fool again. I will say 9 out of 10 times this works wonderfully. The other 1 person disbands and falls behind in levels. See a pattern?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> There is a bright side to all this! The people above make everyone else enjoy and appreciate the people who play as a team. We thank you crazy tanks and over zealous dps classes. Withought you we wouldn't have our good bit of laughter on ventrillo as you die asking in group chat "Why didn't you help me!!!".</DIV>

<P>It really is simple for me. When I lead a group its my group, my decisions my pace. Dont like it? /kick</P> <P>I tell the group on a crawl to remain several paces behind me and some idiot decides to poke around ahead of me. /kick</P> <P>I tell the group to WAIT HERE I will pull to us, only to find I have a couple shadows on my [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] while looking for mobs. /kick</P> <P>Casters who after explaining in group I am an SK give me 5 seconds on pull to gen agro before opening up still hammer the mob on pull. </P> <P>When I am in one of those moods where I am not in a bad mood but really want to [Removed for Content] with these idiots I will do the following.</P> <P>Body pull something fairly tough. Wait for said idiot to gain agro and start getting pounded into submission. FD the healer - muhahahahaha</P> <P>Rescue the next person to get agro and proceed to smash the mob. Do this a couple times in a night and you will find the idiot is starting to pay attention and not get agro.</P> <P>When they complain that I am not taunting or not generating enough agro I respond with. Your right! Keep doing what I ask you not to do and I will dirt nap you into submission. mwuhahahaha</P>

Thought I would put in my two cents worth, though im not a Shadownight! Just to clarify things, I have a 62 bruiser who pulls aggro pretty easily off the Plate tanks, thats without taunting. I would have to say the worst kinds of people to group with are the ones who will not communicate with the MT. For example, When I play my bruiser and I am the off tank I allways send a tell to the MT letting them know my intentions and if it is ok! Say he pulls one MOB I will generally get in a flanking position and just keep things under control until the MOB hits RED at that point I would hit him with everything Ive got and he dies with me having pulled aggro at the end of the fight. I then send a tell to the MT and ask if this is ok. Some say they like swapping aggro and some get mad when they lose the aggro at the end. So i just alter my play style to whomever is the MT. So the guy that says he hates to group with the out of control MONK /BRUISER which are about the same, I do aggree, Im here to tell you if a MONK/BRUISER wants to pull aggro off a single target , they will ! Now if you want to teach them a lesson just send a tell to that healer and tell them not to heal/ward the off tank. I Know this from experience because I was once an out of control Bruiser constantly pulling aggro off the MT because I went crazy on DPS. I was humbled when the healer got tired of healing 2 MTs . To clarify things, I never purposely would pull aggro off MT, if I went all out offensive the MT could not get aggro back. Needless to say, my stupidity got me dead as a door nail because the healer just stopped healing me. This Put me in my place. The healer sent me a private tell and told me to control my DPS because her job was to keep the MT alive first and foremost. Guess what! I am a humbled Bruiser whom respects the MT. I communicate with the MT as soon as I enter a group and ask the role they would prefer me to play. As far as im concerned the MT is the group leader who has the most responsibility. If you have a problem with a certain player send them a private tell so you dont embarass them , and tell them what you expect or what they are doing wrong. If they do not comply , kick them from the group. Hopefully they arent the group leader LOL!

<P>worst: ppl from qeynos, always stopping to smell the flowers or rescue animals</P> <P> </P> <P>if i dont crush them before they see them we would be wandering around all day long</P>
For those of you who don't like group with other tanks, you must be playing with some bad players. When I play with another tank in the group and he is MT for some reason (rare but happens), I try to make his job easy. I will start HOs and then advance them so all they require is the blue horn taunt to complete. Thus helping him keep aggro. Also I do occasionally taunt but I only do the aoe taunt for the disease debuff (which helps SK dps a lot) but not at the beginning. <div></div>

When i tnak i also want to have at least 50%. And also whats the thing to play until you have no mana .. you can rest a few seconds after each fight .. or have to rest a very long time when finally oom. Can remember a party of three (tank, healer, ranger) were i was the only DD with my ranger and finally had to say .. if you pull one more mob when i'm on 10% mana i leave.<BR>
