Well you'll be the tank in PVP groups too, but you might find the variation of skills more to your liking. For example I stuck a ward on a brigand today in a pvp fight and saved his butt. Our healer had left us for a 15 min break and he actually noticed and asked if i healed him. I also don't think people realize one of our group buffs can proc a handy lil lifetap (among other nifty lil things we have)Try it! you might like it!Just for the love of all that is uber don't drink the forum kool-aid and listen to all the people who talk bad about the SK. I did that, and had to do some real thinking and talking with the happy SKs on the board to get my head screwed on straight.<div></div>

My numbers continue to get better the more I learn the class.  I do get envious of the soloability of some of the classes, but SK's are very fun to play.  I have close to 1900 kills and only 135 deaths and I will hopefully hit Master tomorrow with one or two more kills (God willing I see some green infamy lol).  I am starting to figure out PVP and grow in knowledge each day.  If you play your class smart and group effectively you will find that the SK can be absolute killing machines in PVP.  Your job is take down titles and cloth wearers in a hurry then keep yourself alive while using taunts to keep opponents from killing your healers and DPS.  That is it.  Its very simple and if you know your part in a PVP group you can own!!!!!  2 VS 2 with a SK can be absolutly devestating to the opposing side.  If you communicate right you can take out a Q within 1-2 seconds leaving his partner standing there without having cast a spell yet.  My partner and I can duo a 2 VS 2 situation 4 levels higher than us with relative ease.  SK's can be devestating because our survivability is greater than most classes.  Learn this and you will become better at PVP.  Understand that you can't stop runners...........group with a class that can ( I suggest a Brig)  They are made to be an SK duo partner.  We can slow down runners and have lots of nasty dots that can effect them if our partners can't catch.
