Gnarkill, I saw your toon stationed on East Freeport Docks today.  You were AFK so I could not get a chance to say hello.  Congratz is in order..........You are the best / decked out character I have ever seen in PVP (Nagafen) for any class.  Your toon looked like a Machine and your gear / stats are unbelievable.  You obviously have worked very very hard so Cheers Mate!!!!!  I had a few questions for you and hope I am not whipping you.  I believe you are my new mentor for this game because its very obvious you know our class as well if not better than anyone I have come in contact with.  I hope you don't mind me bouncing questions off you from time to time. I am not in a raid guild.  I am in a very strong serious small PVP guild.  We pvp probably 95% of the time and only PVE or raid 5%  My gear is not 1/8 as good as yours and I would really like it to start.  I know the answer to this question but I thought I would ask it anyways.  How can I get some of that Gear if I don't raid all the time?    I know you are in the Tallisman guild so you must raid heavy.   I am relatively new to the  game and the SK class.  I have only played a SK in PVP and have never gotten a toon past level 59 before so I don't know the 50-70 PVE game very well.  Being new to the game as well I don't know good drop zones and don't PVE enough to really explore it.   If you could give me some advice or perhaps gear (JUST KIDDING) it would be greatly appreciated.  You can have your first SK groupie <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> 1.  Are you Tallisman's main tank?  I was just on your Guild website and you have a ton of high level tanks so you may not be.  What is your role within PVP groups / PVE groups? 2.  Is there certain pieces that I can pick up while not having to raid X2, or X3 etc.....If so what.  Where did you find a lot of the pieces that you were wearing.  Heck, your shield is better than all my armor combined lol.  Any advice would be greatly apprecaited in regards to how to obtain or quest for some of the gear that you have. 3,  Any advice for the AA lines?  I just downloaded KOS so I am still trying to figure it out. 4.  Level 62 Master II choice? 5.  What spells to get made adept III? 6..  Now that you are level 70....what other classes can give you a run for your money 1 on 1?  I would think that you would be almost untouchable with those attributes.   What classes do you have difficulty with in PVP. Thanks for your time. I hope I did not bog you down.  Once again, if anyone in PVP wants to glance at a top end SK so that you can 1.  be proud of the SK class  2.  Get a direction on where we can end up.................get a load of Gnarkill. Well im not Gnarkill but I just wanted to add something about gear.  If you want some nice gear without raiding, you should look at the claymore quest line.  Some of the later quests will give you some of the best non raid armor/jewelry.  All the of quests are for single groups until you get to the end.

Well hope he gets back to you squiggy, I'd actually like to chat with you about pvp as I have tons of trouble. Like to know how you manage to keep a title for one, and do you pvp always in a group, solo, or what? I find I get rolled 90% of the time when I'm alone, seems as soon as I get my slayer title back I die to a fleet of Qtards and lose it. Also I don't find out damage to be even close to effective enough in pvp, without HT we're pretty much helpless. All our stuns wear off after half a second, our snare is useless (not that you'd ever get it off on a runner then catch up) and pretty much just feel vulnerable to anyone but a solo greenie, who will likely get away from me anyway.I dunno I'm about inches from deleting my 50 SK I have no real Idea why I stuck by him this long except he's my first plate tank class and I found I do enjoy to tank but dammit I'd like to do o.k. in pvp too.<div></div>

<DIV>Its funny that you post this Agamemnoch because I am getting frustrated as well.  I do hope Gnarkill reply's as well because I am getting confused the higher I get in level.  I dinged 60 today and I feel that I have totally lost my pop in PVP.  It used to be that just Conjurers even con scared me and now I am pretty much scared of each and every class.  Not saying that they would always beat me but (Swashy's, Monks, Conj's, Rangers) can put a beating on you in a hurry.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You asked if I solo......No.  Absolutly 0.  I duo 100% of the time with Lenny (Brig) and 50% of the time with my guild.  They are very strong at PVP which helps my title and my kill to death.  I am a little leary about my solo abilitiest due to the fact that I can't kill anything without HT.  Don't get me wrong.  We are tough 1 on 1 but all they have to do is simply run away.  As you are aware the classes that can kill fast do well in this game.  We don't kill fast.  I had a freaking Bot 9 levels below me get away from me yesterday because once I cast my snare I couldn't catch up to it due to being in combat mode and not being able to cast on the run.   It was freaking embarassing chasing a freaking level 50 bot across everfrost not being able to cast a single spell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now having said all that I do think we are one of the best complimentary classes in the game.  We have great intangibles.  I feel that Lenny and I really are starting to get the pvp game down.  We are also pretty conservative and don't take a lot of risks.  Tracking allows us to make those decisions and SK's need that.   He does everything well that I do not so it helps me a ton.  We can take groups 4-5 levels higher than us down 2 vs 2 because of his disease debuffs / dispatch and double up and my HT.  We can drop a toon in about 1.5 seconds before the other toon can even react.  Its getting rather funny.  Being grouped with a Brig also helps me pick 95% of the fights I enter.  We rarely get jumped.  Almost never!!!  So we simply hunt.  We group invis at the spires or the bridge in Antonica waiting for 1 or 2 or 3 even con or close to it to come out and we simply get the jump on them.  We take down the cloth wearers in 1-2 seconds and then both take on the other one.  We have out chat tabs set so we can see who is doing the healing and the minute we find out who the healer is we both turn on them.  Tracking is by far the best spell in the game.  It allows us at least 10 seconds to get ready to fight or to at least decide whom we are going to hit first.  We always assist each other and never leave each others side.  We both have evacs so that helps with our titles.  We get our kills off singles going to KOS or farming in Lava etc.....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hear your frustrations though.  I am very frustrated at the current time.  If I did not have a brig duo partner I don't know if I would be able to keep any title.  We simply can 't take people down fast enough.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would really love to hear Gnarkill's comments on how he does 1 on 1 at level 70....especially with all that gear.</DIV>

its all about resists and the INT AA line for me..68% crit heals on my taps and spells..having grave blessing on at ALL times is a must in pvp...I can 1 on 1 any class and usually win (tho healers suck [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] fighting against...i just mana sieve the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] out of them) if HT is up i never lose 1 on 1 of course heh..i say reflect (rangers hate sniper shot reflects =P) and despoil are a must for sk pvp..i swap 1h wep and 2h wep in mid fight depending on how im doing....its really hard for us tho cuz we need every single stat (str int wis sta agi) unlike other classes...but gear and weapons will come for all you dont worry...<div></div>

Ry,Please state any opinions that you have.  The more knowledge that people can offer in regards to SK's in PVP the better.  I am always looking to learn more about the class.  Whether we disagree or not, it can be mutually beneificial to hear someone that plays well in PVP's opinion.  I would love to hear what works for you and what does not.  Maybe combined we can offer up knowledge that might save our [Removed for Content] in combat.  Squiggy<div></div>

<P>honestly as an sk in T6 gear there is little I can say because I know T7 gear is "a whole nother monster" and I have neither reached that lvl with my original sk or my pvp one (well my other is 61 but barely into KoS), so until I get some first hand experience with that tier, im gonna chill in the background and keep this a spectators sport. all I have to say is whether solo or grouped sk's have the power to take out most oppenents, especially an sk with evac (I did a drive-by on a conjurer last night, then came back and did a hit and run on the ranger he was grouped with hehe) plus it seems out of all the classes in the game we are not going to get any nerfs in this next patch (yet I still hold my breath)</P> <P>also I know many of you group or duo mostly for your kills, yet I still say we are not a compliment class, but more of an independent class that compliments any other class well. however you put it. sk's are strong even with HT down.</P>

<P>also I think a sense of confusion and uneasyness comes to anybody who gets into the next tier. I mean an 49 sk vs a 50 pally  isnt exactly the fairest of fights considering the sk can be in full ebon and the pally could be in full cobalt. but (usually) once you ding (example) 50, your in full out-dated armor in a world where everybody is not only able to kill you, but is far more powerful then you, and may even have their special DOF spells (cant wait for tap viens) so its totally understandable.</P> <P>btw for anybody who has just hit lvl 50 and has despoiling mist, that needs to be adept 3 or master 1 the second you get it. I took a ranger out (who we all know and love but I will not name) who was 8 lvl's higher then me because I lowered his mitigation so much (and I didnt use HT at all in the fight) so even though I cant comment much on t7 gear, I stll recommend keeping those spells up to date, otherwise I have nothing else useful I can add to this post.</P>
