I am a level 18 shadowknight with mostly green con armor. I am having trouble finding armor suitable to my level. The level of most of my armor is level 10. I have searched the markets but rarely find anything I can use or afford. I have begun the process of making my own armor. My questions are the following: 1) Is making my own armor feasable? Is it possible to make armor suitable to my level? 2) Since I chose an outfitter profession. How do I get upgrades from my spells and combat arts? They do not appear to be on the market either. Thank you, Dark Elf with crumbling armor. <div></div>

<P>You can make armor for any lvl (provided you have a high enough armorer). You said you went outfitter so you should be able to make your own if you want to put time into crafting.</P> <P>Spells and combat arts can be made by players (alchemists for fighters) at app4 and adept 3 lvls (adept 3 requires rare harvest), or dropped at adept 1 and master 1 lvls. Also every 10 lvls (14, 24 etc.) You get 4 choices for a master 2 upgrade.</P>

Ah. Thank you that helps quite a bit. I am a level 15 outfitter and so far nothing is suitable for my level. My crafting level has nothing to do with my adventuring level correct? So it looks like my outfitter level I will have to keep above me adventuring level. <div></div>

Adv and crafting lvls are not related... except that each tier (1-9 is tier 1, 10-19 is 2 etc.) The stuff you make each crafting tier is used in the equivalent adventuring tier. Stuff you make in tier 2 will be useable at lvl 10, all the way to lvl 19. Then you will make new stuff for lvl 20, 30 etc.

Ok. Cool. So i am level 15 now, so by 20 I should be making level 19+ stuff. Are there any items that give me a bonues to my crafting? I have a real hard time making even items right now. Or am I missing something? <div></div>

<P>You have crafting abilities you must use. These abilities help you increase things like durability etc. Bring up your spell list and you will see a tradeskill tab at the top. That will help you complete the items much easier. There are some equimpent out that that have + bonuses to crafting, plus you get some crafting choices at race specific skill selections at certain levels(However these are usually only picked if the character will only be a crafter as there are better choices for adventuring needed).</P> <P>Sorry fixed some horrible grammar errors.</P><p>Message Edited by Cichlasoma on <span class=date_text>05-18-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:15 AM</span>

Excellent. I have been using the "buffs" for countering negative affects only. I should use them all the time then? That will probably make a huge difference. As a rule I should be able to craft something of the same level right? Cause right now I can only craft very easy items with any efficiency. <div></div>

Can you perform these quests solo? I never get a chance to group. <div></div>

also you may want to remember to check the blackmarket vendor in west freeport? or is it east?  anyway... I find that I find more Shadownight adepts for sale there than the evil broker for whatever reason.<div></div>

If you want to outfit yourself, you'll need to stay one tier ahead of your adventure level.  i.e.  to make imbued armor for your (soon to be) level 20 SK, you'll need to be a 39 armorer.  39 is where you get the recipe to imbue the chest and legs that you made earlier in your 30s.

Ah. It seems I have missed something then. There are vendors that sell Adept spells? So far I have only found vendors who sell up to App II. Anyone know the exact location of these vendors? <div></div>

I have tried the broker but not found much of what I need. You mentioned a fence; Where do find this fence? <div></div>
