Thoughts On Armor

<DIV>Currently Im at stand still armor wise in this game.. I dont get to raid much hence I'm Not full suited on Legendary.. I do however have around 2.5 sets of gear on me for different situations.. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>First Set I have is my offensive set.. On this I went along the theory of a battlemage and getting DPS Up.. I orignally Went Full INT and let str get to where wanted, but noticed after parseing striaight up focus on either INT or STR there wasnt much difference, Then went on a whim and balanced the two out with the gear and saw a Good Change in DPS.. So I focused on STR/INT at same time..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://dark-riseing.com/temp/EQ2001.jpg" target=_blank>http://dark-riseing.com/temp/EQ2001.jpg</A> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This seems to have come my main gear.. Currently in Groups I have nearly the highest DPS, Even out doing rangers with it.. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Raids I keep up in the top five.. Same Rangers are now above me... Drawn out fights .. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Keep in mind the STR goes up to 480 during a fight with that setup in the screen shot, from siphon and acrylia ring.. and normally in groups im max on both stats with tweaking them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Question is, any known item ideas that would enchance the stats.. Its not much on wis or resists but I have nearly a suit for resists ive been trying out... Im finding difficult to get wis, sta, agi up .. so on this its more like agi and sta up. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Other then that with this defensive setup have yet to find a problem in any group zone... but still trying to think on ways to get the Mit up. </DIV>

<div></div>I am always upgrading and have a few sets to choose from depending on what resists I need per mob but this is my current set up. I am still waiting for my Relic Shoulders and Boots to drop. But no matter what, I will at least have 3 of each to choose from; whether it be Treasured, Legendary or Epic. P.S. <P>Ive tried the open raids with no luck on relics.. though its completly random that i get the peice, let alone if relic actually drops ....Lately the zone has been lacking on runs ;/</P> <P>WIS im going to try out next round of Defense armor, Im quite interested on what it would do overall.. But this round am checking out raw resists ups.. Have several pieces that im able to focus on if needed, Mostly am able to ge 5k. in a particular resist if needed.</P>

Not killing names will make it a 6 hour lock out and depending on how the loot gods favor your raid you can see em drop well. I have a chest and legs now, still more to grab but even on these runs many drop the SK/Inq specific legendary armor which is a nice item to boot.P.S. Many have been running trash runs in Lyceum lately so look for those too.</div>

We're doing a name run tonight which is what Labs are now for us, Lyceum is now our trash run. Thing to do then is get with a guild who might let you have equal chances on wining relic pieces. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>

Relic, other then lowering my int/str for Wis i dont realy find it being an upgrade for offensive suit... </P> <P>Maybe if you used it as patch work aye.. but hopefully when armor sets come in, that will be the end of patchwork ;P</P> <P> </P> <P>Defense wise might be but, patch work would be the same... Scalelord is isnteresting though hard to find on the broker, havent found what it drops from yet .. and now working more on defense stat. atm im 421defense. </P>

Scalelord is isnteresting though hard to find on the broker, havent found what it drops from yet .. and now working more on defense stat. atm im 421defense. </p><hr></blockquote>scalelord dropps in PoA, kill the dragons, enmity... you'll find out what drops from which eventually (im not even 100% my self).the claymore series helped me out a fair bit as i focused on that early on, so made do with the early rewards when i suited, and evnetually moved on to all the ledgendary rewards, they help a great deal for defence, most jewelry offers physical mitigation bonus, and parry/defence bonuses... its quite annoying spending DKP on raids to realise its a downgrade due to these bonuses.HoF is a good place to go through too if you can spare a few hours every few days you'll eventually get some pretty nice drops (earing, wrist item, boots, sword (fabled, v rare, but i love mine! <span>:smileysurprised:</span> thx to darkachillies for declining it for me... he was drunk though... ).bottom line is you can never have too much gear! im constantly swapping gear around depending on the group set up for raids so that my DPS is maxed but i still have appropriate saves above 6k, and any points that take my stats over about 520 i try to distribute into sta or wis to give power or healththe patchwork thing is a pain... red hair, green shoulders, black/gold chest, silver pants, black gloves...my regular gear is some sort of hybrid between tanking and DPS, alter one way or another as needed.</div>
