Not directly, but keep in mind if you are using items like the Wand of Second Life, Mystical Orb of the Invoker, or have buffs that give you a chance to proc damage on hostile spells, if your AOE taunt procs something the mez will break.  <div></div>

Nope, the AoE taunt will not break the mezz even if you have the mob targeted. Unless you are on auto attack, then, well that's your fault in the eyes of the chanter ;P
