<DIV>Oh thank you SOE, SKs get one whole zone to shine in this game. Wow and stuff.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So tired of people thinking only guardians can tank in raids.. but, whatever.. how it is till SOE decides to give us some freaking taunts that work or make us anywhere near balanced with Pallys for agro holding.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have only been in Vaults 3 times now. The first 2 were early in KoS well before 70, and not only were we little but things were harm touching in there for 10K. I finally got to go in with some guildies the other day to work on 2 quests I had in there. I was with a Guardian who is always the MT when we group. Stuff was fearing us left and right. After a few discoveries I dinged a vital AA point! The one that gave me the last AA in the Wis line, immune to FEAR. So I switched to MT and not only with the fear immunity but the mobs are mostly disease based and I was hardly getting hit most the time while the Guardian was.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, yeah, there's our one zone we shine in, and it gives crap loot. Thanks again SOE.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hate to whine and complain, I love my class, would never change my main toon, but it's just so unbalanced next to not only pallys but the other plate tanks.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Sorry Zael, I have to agree with Venothar there, this one zone doesn't justify 8 ap points. There are two raid mobs that I can think of that fear also, however you have good healers to get to that point and they cure that fear right away.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It is fun to mock the other tanks as you pull 3 - 4 groups each fight, but again it's just that zone. Random fearing mobs through out KoS would be cool, and give that ability a use.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The 1% bonus to abilities/reuse timers has to far of an insignificant impact too, I laughed when I saw my HT at 14:52 sec.</DIV>

Honestly the fear immunity is worth the 5 epics associated with fear if you can help the survivability chances of the raid, one of the big ones being Vilucidae, its a good fall back. What else would you put points into.. <div></div>

Well, immunity to fear is pretty much useless in this game, considering you can just crouch and turn run off, when you get feared you practically move nowhere.<div></div>

As for the Vilucidae fight, our guild killed it on the first pull, even with the AOE fear once in awhile... perhaps since they made the zone more difficult it might be useful, we will see this weekend.<div></div>

So it's about %'s, invest in a skill that is usefull 2 or 3% of the time, or invest in one that's usefull 50% - 60% of the time.</P> <P>I dropped the wisdom line (was at full except the first first two in line, wis and 1st ability). I went through the parses and saw that the abilities had little gains in groups, the only measureable benifit was whoever was tanking would would hit more when in a defensive stance. The regen ability is good for solo'n but has little impact on the group. So you pay all that to get to the fearlessness, that is rarely usefull ability.</P> <P>I put split the wis line out to STR and STA to increase my DPS. Reduced my power consumption by relying on spells to do damage and increase my single target agro capability, and single target DPS (which SK's are low in).</P> <P> </P>
