<div></div><p>The highest I have so far is 11981 & thats due to being in the raid where everyone is tossing debuffs + there was another SK there, so that equals 2 each of the wis & dis debuffs (basically the main debuffs we want).  In outta raid groups, the highest it seems to go is around 8-9k.  I have the master 2 of it also.</p><p>I'm curious too as to how someone gets it that high of 27k.  The only thing that makes sense is some kind of HO combo, but you said it was a duel & those go inactive, so that doesn't jive.</p><p>I could be mistaken, but weren't the max dmg a spell could do, based on the version of the spell used + the general resist of the target + whatever buffs, debuffs said target has to equal the max total dmg of the spell * 1.3 crit?  What I'm getting at is, it doesn't matter what lvl the target is, just that will make it harder for them to resist part or any of it when it lands, so it could go for full dmg + debuff value & crit.</p><p>Either way, something isn't making sense here & I will have to investigate this on some victims, er participant guild members & mobs across the tiers & see.</p>

Its either from the Symbol of Lect'mon Sul or whatever its called that does 50% of that named mob's HP, or some other bug.  I find it comical that people are trying to pass those off as Harm Touch hits when they know exactly what the HH is from <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Highest Magic Hit is not only linked to the Harm Touch line, Heroic Opportunities, as well as some armor procs (namely the Shimmering Star Breastplate) had bugs that would result in obscenely high hits.  I'd like to see SOE either wipe the HH list, or at least clear the Symbol uses and all those bugged HHs from ice cometing level 5 players in duels.  Also, I'd like to see what spell caused the HH damage the way the highest mlee hit shows what weapon was used.<div></div>

Nah, the higher HT hits are due to Brigand and other class'es disease debuffs.  If you are grouping what a Brigand, ask him to make a macro for when he hits hit bug 13 second debuff so you know when to throw your HT and other big spells like Abominable Wrath and Tap<div></div>
