AA Weapons - What is truly a mace, axe, etc?

I have noticed that anything I put in my off hand that is not a shield be it a book, totem or whatever counts as a symbol.  This makes sense as they all have the same disadvantage of no longer providing the blocking ability.  But some are not so clear. Does Brakzar's cleaver count as a sword (WIS) or an axe (STR)?Are scythes like spears (AGI) or just another 2H peircing that doesn't count for AAs?Wands don't count as maces (STA) even though they are crushing weapons.  Do Staffs?  Scepters?It might also be helpful if other people list what does and doesn't count for their AAs.  I personally am looking to get a few new weapons but I'd really like them to fit into the STA AA line.  Specifically, an imbued xegonite scepter is looking might good right now for the INT it gives me, the proc, and the ability to use my AOE stun.Thanks.<div></div>

i can tell you that cleaver works with swiftaxe, and i love it(even more so when i train up int and use it in combination with lego. strike). just add fury vim for max dps output-i'm pretty excited to see how thats gonna parse out.  that cleaver is the only thing that i can use/ found that works with swiftaxe so far. couple of 2hs axes i've seen are war. only.   14000440005800088000080000thats my AA spending seems to offer me the most flexability, tanking and doing dps. since i dont solo anymore

Kettleleaders Katana, And Blade of Bixies count as swords. So..    I wonder what Scythes count as.<div></div>

<div></div><p>my ancient spectres scithe (that i have for effect, as using the overflowing vessel with that equiped makes you look exactly like them) counts as a sword.  as does the confusingly named/graphiced captains ever-shifting vouge.</p><p>currently im (with my SK):</p><p>00400040004000400000 (still working on saving up the 8 for the last one, only have a few at the moment)</p><p>aiming for:</p><p>00440044004800400080</p><p>then will think of what to do with my other 9 points when i get them, heal crits might be good for life taps, but probably not as worth it for SK's as paladins.</p>
