What are good races for the sk?

Freeport and Qeynos are only surviving city after catalysicism and they were established by humans 500 years ago..  Human race dominated Norrath by population.. Now, any lesser races HAD to succumb to Lucan and Queen  and their dominated human cities for survival cuz their lesser cities were lost during the Catalysicism.. You see HUMAN militias and such in those 2 cities overseeing all those lesser races? See Maj'Dul? <div></div><p>Race has a bigger impact in the beginning than it does later on, but I think that goes pretty much for any class.  Soloing is harder for some races when starting out.  I have 2 shadowknights, one that I recently created so I can look into the low-level skills that we start out with since the changes to class progression, both of them dark elves.  The extra intelligence they get is nice to have, but is of less consequence until you get into your teens as you start to acquire more spells and combat arts.</p><p>Beyond the teens, differences become more and more marginal and it really is a question of style.</p>

<div></div><p>Go Troll, we need more of them and we are the coolest <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.</p><p>I all seriousiness though it really doesn't matter, we have to worry about all 5 stats and so each race at start of your journy will have strengths and weaknesses.  Later on though it becomes less an issue due to most stats coming from gear vs race.</p><p>Good luck on your decision</p>
