Pretty spiffy if you ask me. About chest height to my Ogre. <img src="http://home.comcast.net/%7Erandomlessness/frog/newskpets.jpg">
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, thx SOE I love the new look <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> btw do they still have the 5sec stifle or was that part of the bug that pets had the new NPC ablileties?<div></div>

<P>Well I suppose the great tidings of lu 18# will bring us updated pet graphics but very little else... umm hooray?</P> <P><STRONG>Shadowknight changes:<BR></STRONG>- Summon Squire can now be toggled, and will persist across zone lines.<BR>- Pox Sword will now appear under Combat Arts.</P> <P>I guess it could be worse we could be facing a few nerfs like pallies</P> <P><STRONG>Paladin changes:<BR></STRONG>- Amends now siphons slightly less hate.<BR><BR>Still would take amends in a heartbeat instead of pariahs coil pet lines</P>

<P>Good stuff, just want I wanted apart from entirely new unique models.</P> <P>In other news, the new mounts are the Nightmares flaming hooves and eyes. My only complaint about these new horses are they should be the Shadowknight model only. the other classes should get a different appearance</P>

Very cool... Definitely looking forward to this change. <span>:smileyhappy:</span>Anything that makes the game more fun is not useless imho, and besides, I'm pretty sure we don't want the graphic artists trying to make code changes to fix game mechanics. (No offense intended to any graphics artists. <span>:smileywink:</span> )<div></div>

<DIV>honestly a <STRONG>LARGE</STRONG> part of what is the problem with sk's is the feel of the sk, example, armor and horses. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>anything, even a small graphics change like this that can seperate us from a necro, will make us feel more unique, and hence make us feel more like an sk. which in the long run makes the game more fun</DIV>

Lol we are so cheap:smileytongue:<BR><BR>All this whining about taunts and how much we suck then a new pet look comes and everyones happy for a week (including me) <BR><BR>Weeeee skellie pet gonna look better, but it hardly fits with "seek death and it finds you" Was expecting a spectre type model but hey ho.

This is definitely a step in the right direction toward helping us to achieve a certain sense of aesthetic fulfillment. I'd rather have a new and improved squire, though, as that persists. Having a great-looking skeletal pet that lasts for 30 seconds isn't all that wonderful. If we're going to focus on aesthetics, then let's have something a bit more lasting.

Permanent pets scale visually from Apprentice to Master, though I'm unsure of whether or not temporary pets do as well. They should!
<DIV>Judging by the pics they might pick up armor peices as they scale, but it doesnt look like it would be a whole lot, its still disappointing that the sk pet model is the same with just graphic addendums (weapon armor) as it scales, woulda been nice to maybe SWITCH the model to a tad more evil looking undead every dozen levels or so...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

The pets do slashing damage now they used to do crush, of course sony never lists the useful shadowknight changes as usual (us shadowknights truely get left in the dark).Heh they even forgot to change our Squires when they changed the paladins squire, isnt it the same fun spell [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]!?!!Oh man i feel like im wining and complaining but its all so true!<div></div>
the really cool thing is my master 1 pet doesnt cast stifles anymore! yay go SoE

<P>Just some extra info for one of the posts. Our pet does not change appearance with app 1 through master 1 upgrades. I just got my first pet last night and cast it at App 1 and again after upgrading to Adept 1. Same look. <P>The models are very nice, BUT, I really don't like the change from crushing to slashing, seems like 50pct of the dang raid mobs are immune to slashing now (sucks too because my best two hander is slashing). But it atleast is a bit different then the standard skelly (or the [Removed for Content]/bird we used to have).</P> <P> </P>
