<div></div>If you ask me don't go for a 2H piercer (great spear), rather get and ironwood 2h pike made! Ironwood is cheaper then cobalt and the ironwood 2h had a higher dmg!!!  I got the great spear very early on, if i'd known bout the ironwood i'd one for that.Slash<font face="Arial"><a <div></div>From what I have seen the [Removed for Content] sword would be best because it has the least delay. SKs have a number of proc type buffs in addition to the proc that the weapon already has. The faster you swing, the more times your procs are going to go off. So in the end the [Removed for Content] sword will actaully do higher dps than any of the others despite them having the same damage rating (although I never looked at the ironwood spears, if the delay is shorter go with one of those). <div></div><p>Message Edited by DrAtlasX on <span class=date_text>11-24-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:00 AM</span>

They calcute a weapon speed factor into the proc rate. So a slow swinging weapon has a better chance to proc, than a fast weapon.

I have the 2H pike as well, mainly cause I somehow was lucky enough to get the rare harvest & had it sitting there with no idea what to do with it.  I was gonna sell it, then saw it & thought, [Removed for Content], it'll be something I use.  I use it almost all the time now, while I determine what I want to get next.  Right now, I'm Darathar from the prismatic & have the scepter of rhaotep (which isn't great, but its free legendary crush) as 1H.  I just can't quite make up me mind as to what next weapon I want.  It kinda sucks as tanks, you need at least two 1H weapons & two 2H weapons, due to immunities.  I don't have cobalt coming outta me wazoo so it makes for interesting albeit hard choices.

I went executioner's axe for the long delay - works nice with our spells.  Looks badass, too.  Will be getting my 2H pierce made soon (think I'm going Ironwood Pike). <div></div>
