Should I go for +5 incombat health regen, +5 incombat power regen, +2.5% max health, or +2.5% max mana pool?

My personal opinion is power regen > rest.

With no complete heal spell, a bigger health pool really doesn't do anything other than give you a heal up front. Either the healer can keep up your health or they can not. The size of your pool doesn't change that fact.

Running out of power sucks. With a power pool of 3000, the 2.5% is approx. 75 power. Plus 5 power per tick means that you'll hit break-even after 15 ticks (counting as long as you're not at full power). Also, power regen works even while you're not in combat.

Running out of health is certainly lethal. But gaining health in-combat is MUCH easier than gaining power in-combat. And when you look at food and drinks, 1 health regen seems to be less worth than 1 power regen, since food gives back ~120 health, but drinks only gives ~80 power per tick.

I agree, I picked +power regen with my monk and I see no reason to change now as an SK.

Also went with power regen - no hesitation or question at all with that one.

I usually take the 2.5% health or power pool (power if I plan to solo alot, and health if I plan to group alot) I like permanent stats personally, ones I can clearly see. honestly with good drink in hand im not to worried about my power. espically if I have an illusionist or enchanter in the group, I can go power crazy!!! (espcially sense im restriced to not using my aoe's)

Think I took 1 power regen, hp regen & the rest straight hps, in the thought that we have the lowest hp pools & tanking 1 round hit slaughters. Also, it'd be embarrasing if some scout had more hps than me ><

2.5% max health.

It doesn't matter how fast your healers can heal you if you get hit for 7800 points of damage when you only have 7700 hitpoints. Besides, as a tank with the lowest health pool, we need some help in this category.

doh, thats right its in-combat power regen huh? still, if in a group there is usually an illusionist, enchanter or necro that can help with power, I have a large powerpool (because of that str I take) and never really have to worry about it in the first place. but to each his own

personally i chose 2.5 % extra health for the potential option to tank raids. its not much help at low levels but once you hit 52 alot of the mana issues go away with our mana tap, i rarely run out of mana and i usually don't use drink due to my mana refresh from the manatap.
Message Edited by Lord Hackenslash on 11-18-2005 01:18 AM

I personally went with more power pool and I figure that if I have some good drink I will regen fine. Plus I do not MT very much ATM. I guess it depends on how you play your toon or want to play your toon. If you are going to tank than HP, if you are going to try to move towards and MA and DPS than power. I personally like to kick the crap out of the mob so I like power and as much of it as possible

Drizzic

47 SK
