View Full Version : Idea for a new spell

First I want to state that have only char and have played only char. While i understand the diff classes I do not know every classes spell line. I know back in EQ1 there were some some snowball dots. I was thinking that would be a cool new spell for us SKs. The spell worked by hitting for 1 point... thats right 1 little point. But after every 4 seconds or so it hits for double the previous amount. It does not sound like a lot but if they did it right a Master LVL 2 upgrade to this spell could last for ~3 mins (or whatever they thought was fair) And it should not be like a harm touch line where you can only cast it every 15 mins(now) but it should have little wait for a recast time. This type of spell would give us the DPS we are so praying for.... post your thoughts. <div></div>

Thats a great idea, except for the fact that there was only 2 of those for eq, 1 from shammy epic and 1 was a higher end necro spell called splurt or something like that, dont think sks would ever get one

They just fixed that tho, now all spells should last as long as the effect says it does, so even if we did have one, with our spells it wouldn't even make a difference only because  all our spells (DoT wise) don't last very long, i think our longest was 30 seconds, so our dots right now would probably be better even with the doubleing effect, but if you made it worthwhile like say as a lifetap (Or leech in the DoT case) then it would be worthwhile!
