<DIV>Hi, Now I love being an SK, in both EQLive and EQII. I endured playing  an SK through all its crap through Kunark to PoP. Finally getting ours from PoP to present. In EQII, to prove all the naysayers that there was no solo content or not enough of it, I proved them all wrong by soloing from 1 to 50 in about 6 months. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Here is where my frustration lies. When raiding, only 1 SK is needed, any more then that is about as useful as a watch that dont work. We cant tank, we cant really DPS for long and we cant heal or ward for [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]. Even a cool combat art like Dreadful Wrath is useless , why didnt they make the damage hit, but the spell effect not hold when it was already on the mob? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Seems to me, Sony tried to make way to many classes without thinking of the consequences it would bring. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I want to raid, but I cant. <DIV>Well I know where Waspz is comming from.  I am having the same problems,  I am a SK and have been lvl 50 for 4 months now..   hell the only thing I have done for the most part is harvest and run solo writs.  I mean its obvious that SOE knows about the issue,  the question is, is there any plans on making us more useful in this expansion.  Or will they ignore the issue for 4 more expansions. I know there are outher SKs upset about this issue,  and i know some who have quit all together. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There are 24 classes and 24 raid spots, and all guild stuff is divided by 24.  Can it be that SOE's idea was to origanally have it so you only want / need one of each class in a guild?  Changed their minds fixed the outher classes and forgot about the Shadowknight? Now I know there are a few outher classes that are having the same issue,  but not as extream as Sks.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Some of you will say we are whinning.  And be like shut up.  But when you devote 4-7 months of your time and effort to get to the end game along with your friends.  Your friends start getting picked up for raids and you are left to play with yourself,  cause the raid already has one SK and that is all they need.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have read and read and reread the posts about the test server and combat revamp. <P>I am a 50 SK and have been for several months, having played since release.  I don't have a prismatic and I have seen two instanced T5 raids.</P> <P>I also have two level 50 crafters, one level 40 crafter, one level 38 crafter, one level 37 crafter, second tier faction title (~300 writs) with the crafting faction and boxes, actually character mules, full of raws.  As you can see, my emphasis has not been my SK despite the fact that I love the class.  So, I feel you guys.</P>

It's not just an SK problem - try to have more than 1 brigand/assassin and their debufs won't stack... We're very often 3 SKs when we raid and yes it sucks when you cannot use certain combat arts and spells but it's not all of them and I end-up using them or others at some point anyway...I agree they should fix this...All of us can cast our birds tho...but we should be able to cast more... Hopefull the combat revamp is going to address some of these directly or indirectly - it did with assassin by adding new arts or updating existing ones... I'm actually looking forward to the revamp....(better mitigation amongst other things) If they don't make you raid in your little guild then move to another one - we killed pretty much all epic mobs with more than 1 SK most of the time I can tell you and we can do very fine dps-otherwise...get some heart, regen power, manastone, etc...I raid everyday with other SKs - no problem whatsoever... In summary I agree with you that SOE should fix some of the conflicting arts you mentioned but I disagree on the useless part... <div></div>

<P>  word of mouth is the biggest issue i have why Sk's are not welcome in a ton of groups raids etc......Never had a problem getting groups bein MT .till like the 3rd month of play (played since november) and then nothin i could ooc for hours . i never have and still dont have problems being MT.</P> <P>People in the game For one reason OR another have come to the assumption that ONLY Guardians and Pallies are MT in the game . Some how SK's got kicked to the curb and i believe it is a player created problem </P> <P>Example: i went to a Yankees game and a really easy pop fly ball get hit out to Derek Jetter the crowds goin wild thinking he caught it BUT he fumbbled it and dropped it the other team scored 2 runs .Did the crowd BOO did they go Owww Dang .NOPE they all started cheerin Yeah Jetter Its alright Jetter .
