interesting, i'm on beta and as of yesterday i never seen them spells. but thats also cause i was on before the patch. beta patches start like 1-4pm. I'm now excited <div></div>

What, exactly, is Death March supposed to do? And look at the Paladin's new spells: a new HO starter, which probably makes for improved HOs, and something that saves them from a fatal blow. I'd rather have those. Looks like we got screwed again. And Guardians now get a limited pet, like ours? Gee, there they go mashing all to gray again. The paladin FD is OK -- but the problem with that is you would need 2 MTs in that group considering there's no way EVER that you would get aggro back after using that spell unless somehow they boost rescue to give +25 positions of hate =) The new SK spell seems interesting -- its a little hard to follow the loop since I don't know exactly what Essence of Death or Death March does (looks like Essence of Death casts Death March -- which is a DPS increaser??) ASSUMING this spell works (wouldn't be surprised if this spell was broken), wouldn't we be increasing the dps potential of our group through this + despoiling mist as well as getting alot of buff aggro? BTW anyone else notice this spell doesn't cost power? <div></div>

<font color="#9933ff"><font size="2"><font face="Comic Sans MS">Mana Sieve & Vein Tap are very nice, very SKish abilities.  Death March if I understand it correctly will increase the dps of the SK's group every 15 secs for a minute.  I think it could be very useful especially if the group is in danger of a wipe and you need to get MOB's dead fast in order to survive.  This skill may end up being one of the best things to happen to our class in a looong time.  </font></font></font><div></div>

<P>I don't know if it is intended or not because the description doesn't mention it but Tap Veins is currently an AE lifetap. Hits every mob for damage and heals you for 236 for each mob it hits. VERY NICE.</P> <P>And I think getting a mana tap is amazing also. I hope they add a whole line of these in for us,</P>

<DIV>i talked to a dev about this and the lifetap is in fact a AE lifetap but i think its suppposed to be like a "touch" ae. so its not supposed to be  ranged.  so its great for tanking like 30 mobs (think Meeting of hte minds) since there is no limit, you could potentially lifetap all 30 or so mobs, and it adds all their hp tapped to the SK. (how it was explained to me).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>as far as death's march.  its supposed to be a buff (not sure if it requires component) but for a minute time, after you kill a mob it increases the dps of the grp. so the more you kill the more your dps goes up.  now again this is how it was expliained to me .  how it may work *and whether it is broken or not* i am not sure about. i havent gotten to test it out extensively yet.</DIV>

<P>well they finally added a little more info to these spells.</P> <P>Tap Veins is an AE lifetap that centers around the caster like our other ae's costs 196 power and has a 1 minute reuse</P> <P>Death march lasts 1 minue and has a 3 minute recast and when something is killed it adds 55% dps to the group</P>

Wow sounds nice. I immediately had a mental image of main assisting in meeting of the minds on the named Blade. His aoe finally gets my health down low so I just walk to the middle of all his summoned adds and cast tap veins. <P>Wow an AOE LT that is sweet, be a very nice tool for us.  And now that I can figure out what the heck Death March does <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> sounds like that is a nice add too, can increase our utility to groups and raids.  Hopefully they don't nerf them to heck and back, kind of looking forward to getting up to 50 and getting them. </P> <P>One more question if anyone has the answer, on Death March what does upgrading the spell increase, the pct or time factor?</P> <P>V/R</P> <P>Blackoath</P>

Most likely it will up the dps %, but right now there is no way to upgrade these spells. I will also bet that these spells will swap around in level , possible being our level 60 spells. They could have just added them at 50 to gather test info from them, and plan on moving them later.

well i think 55% increase in dps compares favorably, the lifte tap could be 1:1 doing less damage than it does now so the glass is half full not half empty, and you didn't even address mana sieve.  If you want to witch, at least address the issues about taunt and whether soulrend, our 2nd stun, will affect epics. <div></div>

<P>The dps buff is a nice add (just wish the dang description was a bit clearer), it will be a nice ability that will add to our desierbility when we aren't tanking (which is something I am very worried about).  As for the AOE tap, if it comes out in live where it takes the hp from the mobs and gives us health back for each mob that is a very nice ability, can help a bit in both survivability and maybe aggro.  Haven't seen a link on the mana sieve yet so really can't judge it, if it doesn't suck could be a nice ability also.</P> <P>V/R</P> <P>Blackoath</P>
