Anything else they want to add to us to worry about? Being a sk will be a complicated game of figuring out what stats to increase and finding that golden piece with the right combination. I already told the mages in the guild to be ready. Us crusaders are going to take your intelligence items for when we are not tanking LOL. i will take my dps any way i can. If it means increasing my IN to 300 plus i will do it lol.

Just remember INT will only enhance spells, STR will enhance combat Arts, yes a balance indeed.

One note to remember, STR enchances combat arts and auto attack damage.

Now where are my scales?

I think even thou INT and WIS will have an effect for us after the changes we should still focus on STR/STA/AGI like tanks are doing atm. most our dps is gonna be auto attack dps STR will have a much bigger impact on out dps than INT/WIS. Kinda like a mage will focus on INT/WIS even thou STR/STA/AGI will be of some use they will see more results with a high INT/WIS

thinking about it i wanted to slightly correct myself, WIS will play a more important role than INT fr defensive reasons. If we are gonna be called on to fight disease based foes it'd help alot to have a decent WIS to aviod some of the spells. IMO from a roleplay perspective thats kinda dumb. "Hey go get George the Wise to take a beating for us"

You are correct, about those stats. But when you are not the tank INT and STR will be the stats to focus on. I for one am not the main tank in raids in my guild and probably will not be after revamp. So when tanking You will need STA/AGI/WIS and when not taanking INT/STR. We will have to have two sets of gear or find some that are well balanced (currently none in Game).

Yeah for tanking we will need STA for Hps, AGI to get hit for less in melee, and Wis to take less spell damage.

And for DPSing STA for getting hit with AE's, STR melee damage, INT spell damage.

Which kinda sucks for Crusaders/Bards because we will find all 5 stats usefull, where a Warrior doesnt need to worry about int, and a Mage/priest doesnt need to worry about STR or AGI, and Scouts (except bards) don't need to worry about Int.

I see your point but atleast with myself i try to focus more on taking a hit then giving one just for the fact I'm a tank first. I like to be able to do that job the best i can when i'm called to do it. Which for me atleast is in just about all non-raid situations. I'll also point out my guild is very priest and scout heavy. Keeping extra hex dolls and imbued rings helps adjust my roll also. Yea when tanking now i'll need STA/AGI/WIS and thats an extra stat to worry about but when filling the gimped dps roll wouldn't you use STR/INT/AGI. I may be wrong but doesn't AGI play some part in in how often you land a blow?

I do really like the idea of being able to define ourselves more with our stats. I'd be nice not to be exactly like that other 50 SK standing there. Althou atleast on my server all you have to do is not be a barbarian SK it seems to be diffrent.

I'm on Mistmoore i see alot of barbs and Trolls mostly barbs. I don't see as many ogres as i think there should be, i figured with +5 defense there would be more. I pry see more DEs than ogre sks. but that can also be cause i'm a DE so i notice them more. I've been 50 less than 2 months and i was SK #49 or 50, can't remember but its around there. but anyway this is another topic :smileytongue:

Anyone have a idea how much a effect Agi will have for Fighters in the revamp?

Also, Wis is the opposing number to Int, and if I remember correctly Agi is opposite to Str. If they drop the effects Agi has for fighters, will this all effect how it detracts from the enemies Str Bonus?

I took Agi in all my traits, does anyone think it will be worth while to keep it if I respect after the revamp?

Message Edited by Deadjester on 08-13-2005 12:33 AM

was looking for a bit of a challenge so my little female halfling SK fits the bill - surprisingly good
