<DIV>lol..I just dinged 50 2 days ago....my last guild was sort of disbanded due to leaders leaving the game to play other games to relieve the boredom of this game, so I'm unguilded. Therefore, I want to join uber or just raiding guild so I can obtain secret book for my 50 tailor and finish prismatic quest. Talking to 5 raiding guilds in my lavastorm server, they all don't want sks cuz they don't want more 1 sk in their guild and they just want scouts or priests although 1 of the guilds has more than 3sks. However those sks are officers in the guild. I know alot of posts about raid functions of sks and this problem finally hits my server..lol..wt can I say? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I love sks cuz they'r fun to play due to they'r be able to dsp and tank at the same time but still it doesn't have any advantage for uber raiding event. Anyhow, if u want fun, play sks but if u want class demanding in high end game, go with scout, mage, fighter or priests. Also, some raiding guilds want Pal cuz they can heal as good as defilers lol..that's just insane..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Pretty much, i'm using this main sk to make money to support my alt Priest! lol...my 4 months of playing and building my sk to the best and realize it's unwelcome to raiding guild..<img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Back to lvl up my 24inq</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>50sk</DIV> <DIV>50tailor</DIV>

<P>/sigh I have an answer for you, when you reach the splash screen on initial 'boot' of the game, instead of picking your character straight away, select 'none', then when you get to the part where you can see your character and have the option to create a new one, look for you Shadowknight, then look to the bottom right (well I think its to the right) and press 'delete'....I will continue enjoying what is quite frankly the best class in the game, and playing it with a style and skill that can not be matched by any other.</P>

Bah, my apologies then, I mistook it for another whine about how we're crap. If they don't want you in their guild then bloody sod them, they don't know what they're missing, better luck with a more worthwhile guild. ((I'm the only person left in my work so thats probably why I may have 'jumped' on you, I wish the clock would move faster..:smileysad<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />)

ah..np..right now i'm just moneymaking machine..spending times on alt, harvesting, crafting, and sometimes ppl call me to tank for their heritage quests; i'm happy to help them. I'm going to be unguild for awhile, taking a break from all negative responses from those uber guilds. An unknown shadowknight.....

What server are you on? Our guild is always looking for quality people. Shadowknights are always welcome. <div></div>

<DIV>Sounds like the guilds on your server have not been educated. There is one like that on my server and it's pretty funny cuz they aren't as good as they could be <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. Knowledgeable guilds know what SK's are capable of and like to keep at least 1 at each raid. I've seen some smaller sized guilds limit themself to 1 SK and that is fine, hardcore raiding guilds won't add another one if they have one that is very active already.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My guild's raid officers know what we can do and always has at least 1 Shadowknight at every raid. In our case we usually have 2.</DIV>

I wish I was in your server so my sk could play a useful role in raid. However, I love lavastorm and don't intend to change server cuz I have so many friends who happen to notice my sk tanks just as well as other considered truly "tank" and one of the best solo classes. Right now, I'm just waiting for the expansion so sk can continue to cause fear and hatred across the Horath lands..... Story never ends....lol

<font color="#9933ff">Perhaps the problem is not in the class but between the keyboard and the floor . . . </font><div></div>

I've never had a problem getting into a group and guilds have been very welcoming to me. Then again, I earned a reputation all the way up as I leveled as being "good". That does matter more than your class, believe it or not. <div></div>

<DIV>yeah it's funny i am a lvl 38 Sk i have been in many groups where they want another to tank and have watched as we all die ; ) been in groups wear we have had a gaurdian 2 levels higher than me tankin and we all died they had to leave i took over we were down a person and we did same mobs and didn't die fun stuff also have wound up taking over in parties when there are people in the party that know im a good tank wound up taking over in alot of parties . Funny thing is just today i came on a friend asked me to help his friend a 27 Bruiser so i agreed came helped done deal . he asked if he could get his lvl 30 sk and come exp i Was More than happy to ablige knowin how hard it can be to get grouped as an sk(still at 38 have been asked if Sk's can act as tank hahahaha) .so we took him to RE found a 31 temp and we were havin fun dion Golems and Boars and then the Sk says in group i'd rather be playin my bruiser Atleast he can tank and dps. i was like [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] . Truelly the only main problem i have is the fact that everyone belives that once an sk loses agro they cant get it back i hold agro like a mother but once in awhile it dont matter i lose it (roll 1 on 20 sided die 4x) and poeple might die. Woopy thats the game every other class loses agroe most lose it more often then i do but they get it back more often (loses agro 4x gets it back 3 times we die on the 4th time) id rather lose agro one time every hour than 1 time every other mob ; ) and if nobody ever ever loses agro then your just watching a movie might as well go fight all grey mobs whats the exitement of fighting with no chance of death . and raid mobs i never have had problems dont know whats the big hopla maybe i will when i turn lvl 50 BUT if by then poeple dont want an Sk in raid ; ) fine i soloed a ton i'll solo some more and if my guild won't help let me in raids or get me raid items i can use then i'll just do without them or buy them and leave the guild. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>Want me to send your guilds a parse of DPS? The leader of my guild parses everr single raid, now he only looks at them if we had an unsual happening or when they get revamped, but i have been told time and time again im one of the highest constant dps producers, amongst melee we are often very high, and I even beat out many scouts.</P> <P>Just so you know, our wiz is in the top 4 every raid. Those guys just pump it.</P> <P> </P>

Yes it's nice to be able to do it when you need to, but let's face it. We are one of the best DPS classes in the game. Guild leaders that recognize this love Shadowknights because not only do we out DPS alot of scouts, we wear plate armor to boot. I wish I could paste the logs but I remember one instance where I beat out every Wizard and Warlock on the raid and was beaten only by a Ranger. He had me by 10 dps or so. </P>

At Level 65 with nearly 500 AA, I was chosen over Warriors hands down for exp groups. Pre-GoD, Shadow Knights/Paladins were simply the way to go. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><BR>
<DIV>Guild leaders I have talked to generally are aware that crusader dps (not a huge slice differance between paladins and sks atm the moment) however many are wary of upcoming combat changes that some of us have been whining incessantly about, and find our utility spell to be a dubious addition at best (parse times of despoiling mist versus non), at at the moment yes we can out dps some scouts, however we cant start scout hos giving them a decided advantage in epic encounters (landing your 3-4 person hos on epics is far more important to the speed of killing it then if your despoiling mist is up), and scouts tend to have a more visible and hence calculable affect on an entire groups dps.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>However due to being 'main tanks' or being part of the main group you still have to get past the zerker/guard combo and hence priority of getting 'real' tanks equipped in their silvery armor. Admittedly this is just the idle chit chat ive had with them, having had my sk decommissioned a few months now means its mostly heresy</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
