Shadowles

<DIV>I can only speak for the class ive been playing so here it goes. I have been playing a shadowknight for some time now and I havent felt like eq2 did a great job at this class. For one other classes such as mages, warlocks, etc. seem to really give a feel when they cast their spells that they are playing a unique class, ex: warlock will have a big green snake poison the mob. However for Shadow knights, we dont really imitate what a SK should be. For instance we get a blob for dot pet, and a bird for next lvl dot pet, we cant invis at all even though were supposed to be from the dark side. Our spells are watered down compared to our Pally counterpart as well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Here are some suggestions to give some life to the SK's of EQ2:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1)Give us some form of invisibility, this should be a given being were shadowknights</DIV> <DIV>2)Change our Dot pet spells so that they actually look like they are from the dark side.</DIV> <DIV>3)Make our spells more potent, were supposed to be damage dealers as the counterpart of pallies, however all our spells are watered down alot , starting to feel like im a guardian or something.</DIV> <DIV>4)Make our spell effects really shine and portray darkness, as it is right now i dont even notice that im a sk</DIV> <DIV>5)Make our lifetaps on same timer as pallies heals-seems fair enough o.O</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was a eqlive player for over 3 years and i have to say i feel that Sony did a much better job on individualizing classes and givng a unique feel to them there than in EQ2, i feel that they really didnt put much thought into these classes at all. Most of our spells are just upgrades of what we already got as we lvl up, not much unique lvling from 1-50, alot that was good in EQlive was removed from classes in EQ2. Also we could use Epic armors that actually portray the given class as opposed to everyone doing the same armor quest no matter what fighter class it is. Epic weapons would be great too, EQlive had them implemented and i think did a great job at it too where the Epic weapons were unique to each class and were actually attractive. The weapons ive seen in EQ2 all starting to look the same as the gear is as well. PvP servers id really like to see again in EQ2 where its open pvp maybe with some changes but open pvp nonetheless, it gave life to the boring grind of xping and questing all day long.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>PS: Sony if you want to keep your customers, you might want to look back at EQlive and see what we actually enjoyed about the game cause I have not seen much of it here in EQ2... only a matter of time when players start moving on to better stuff coming out like Vanguard, D&D and others this year. Only reason why i say this is cause i actually loved EQlive the most out of all mmorps i played and was a long time customer of EQ, i just dont feel like Sony is actually putting the thought into the game as i feel they didn in EQlive, hope Sony wakes up sooner than later or im looking elsewhere for entertainment. Graphics is one thing which EQ2 did a great job at, althought i cant stand the character models, look like claydough, but EQ2 is definately lacking big time, character uniqueness and depth. Hope a GM reads my thoughts and actually makes something happen so we can all enjoy more of EQ2 sooner than later or not at all..!!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Feel free to add your comments as this was just my feelings as i have felt EQ2 went downhill in alot of ways <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </DIV>
