<DIV>I'd like to gather some suggestions for T5 raid equipment for those of us who are just starting to raid.</DIV> <DIV>Basically, I'd like to put together a full equipment profile with the following restrictions:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>No Fabled.</DIV> <DIV>No Rares.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anything quested is fair game unless it requires a high end raid to finish (2 groups of level 50s no. Drops work too, if they're not ultra-rare. All non-rare crafted is allowed (Imbueds count as non-rare, but that's kinda a no brainer)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The point of this is to assemble a relatively easily scroungeable equipment set which will allow you to be effective as you attempt to acquire the Fableds and Rares that will become part of your permanent outfit.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>(This is inspired by my personal attempts to get well outfitted on Test as I make my run at level 50. We're only starting to become capable of high end raids right now, so there's little to no fabled equipment out there, and those who find rares tend to use them for themselves. Hence, a lot of us need to put together raiding outfits out of 'commodity' equipment)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm currently in imbued fulginate with T5 crafted jewelry. I have Monsoon in my bank waiting for me.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Ceruline on <span class=date_text>07-12-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:35 AM</span>

Well there's various instances like the Ice Spire, Menagerie, Bastion of Flames which you can hunt down treasured gear like black ebon platemail or enchanted rubicite vanguard. There's also some decent and very awesome drops you can get from Nek Castle 2. The aforementioned pieces are basically the equivalent of crafted ebon and in some cases have better stats. <div></div>

<DIV>I bought a fulginate set & it sat in the bank because one by one I picked up pieces of Ebon plate maill from chest drops off Nightbloods in EL and they are slightly better for SKs than the fulginate. I'm still wearing the helm at lev 50 infact till I can afford to upgrade it to ebon Vangaurd.</DIV>

<DIV>Start with full pristine fulginate, like most of us. After that its all about luck of the loot as forementioned.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I started raiding at 49 with full fulg. I now where 3 ebon, 1 rubicite, Jboots, 1 thulizite and my jewelry is smattered about from drops and crafted. I dont raid alot, 3 times a week avg. So I have not been lucky enough for fabled, not that it is all that common anyway. When i get my few more ebon peices crafted from raid ebon drops ill be happy.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you have time the instances mentioned here are excellent ways to gear up, I personally dont spend enough time playing in the summer to do them, come fall tho I will be there. Of course then comes the expansion so maybe by then on to bigger and better things.</DIV>
<P>As a melee class another improtant thing is, you will need to have a legendary or fabled weapon to hit the +++ mobs. <BR>I would suggest getting the crook from the heritage in Rivervale for crushing and I think bloodfire from the Heart of Fear access in Cathic Thule is also hitting epics. </P>

I used many different treasured weapons before I had my cedar club and ebon sword made. Yes legendary and fabled are the goals, but many of the lower tier epics can be hit with treasured.
