Wicked Coil Master I

<DIV><FONT color=#ff6600 size=4> I have been fortunate enough to have gotten the Shadowknight level 50 spell , Wicked Coil (Master 1). I am assuming it will be an amount in the Plat/s range .......BUT... ...what I am needing is input on what a Fair and Reasonable price would be for this spell.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff6600 size=4></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff6600 size=4></FONT> </DIV>

I also got Wicked Coil (Master I) from splitpaw and I think around 5p would be a good price because there will probably not be an upgrade in the upcoming expansion and it adds a good amount of dmg from Adept I. It went from 89dmg per tick to 122 per tick. <div></div>

I'm not sure who would invest 5pp to get another 35+ dmg per tic. To each their own.

Yeah, 5p is way too much. I would say maybe 1.5p for this spell. I currently use the training version of it. While the training version does less damage it also debuffs poison/disease mitigation by 969, which makes all our other attacks hit harder. So I think the training is still the better choice at this time.

5 plat is nuts - no one with any brains is going to pay that kind of money.  To get a reasonable price, look at the cost of rubies/rhodiums on your server.  Then add at most a 50% markup.  So if rubies are going for 2 plat (current average price on Befallen server), then put your master 1 up for 3 plat.  I think someone would definately pick it up for that amount.  Its really hard to justify high price for a single target DPS spell for a non-DPS class.  Now if this was Blasphemy or Despoiling mist...  Then you probably could get 5 plat for one of those 2.
