I happened to come across an extra silver the other day and I was wondering if there is any spell in the tier 2 range that gets used longer than others. I have a crusader (future SK) alt that I would like to use this on if there are any teir 2 spells that get used later on. I was thinking Blessed Weapon, does it still stack with later proc'ing spells? does anyone still use it?

honestly knowing what i know now, sell it make the cash, and save up for adept 3s in your 40s or armor. you just out grow everything else too fast for it to be a big deal.

Thats what I found anyway.

Thanks for the info. I have a mid 40's necro and due to the fact that the nature of the upgrades change later on (from summoner to necro), there are about 4 spells from the 10-19 range that I still use. (example: a mid-teens buff spell increases Int, Stam, and Cold resist... all the upgrades to it increase Int, Stam, and noxious resist... therefore it still gets used for a small added Cold resist) I just didn't know if there were any spells like this for an SK.

In looking at it some more, it looks like Rightous Blow (DivineDD) may not share a timer with its replacement Fetid Grasp (Noxious DD).

Is this true? If so, it might be worth it.

I've also heard that SK's can have Blessed Weapon up at the same time they have the replacement up, but no one can confirm if the proc from Blessed Weapon goes off.

I think there is a T2 spell I still use, but I am having difficulty picturing my hotkeys at work. Its either Righteous Anger or Righteous Blow.

Vigor is used all the way to level 33. I never AD3ed mine so I can't tell you how much of an upgrade it actually is. Buff upgrades usually only gain like +1 so it may not be worth it, but boy I was suprised by how long I was using that spell.

The problem though is that during the big class/spell rebalance, they are giving upgrades to lines that currently just die out so who knows what a good choice will be post-rebalancing.

There was some great info on the guardians page from Perma frosts uber warrior about grey abilities in the revamp not being effective aginst higer tier targets. So it may be come a waste after revamp, I use no grey abilities except intervene rarely.

Side note, good news, Noah (the warrior) was at fan faire and allowed into a long "summit" as he was the first warrior on Perma to achieve level etc. He posted what he heard, and one of the biggest issues with the revamp is old versions of buffs will not longer stack with newer ones, they are scalling all abilities properly from app1 to adept 3 (WOOHOO).

Generally he came back with possitive outlook, but it still will be a month or more before revamp is done. He made is sound as though waiting for it was also worth it. Usually gusy like him are very negative, but he was 99% possitive and came away beleiving that they will release a great new system, and they can and will do it right.

Just some news, though guardian centric, we all will ge the same attention, as we all are apart of the melee/spell system.

as a lvl 50 SK i think the only crusader spell i still use is unyielding advance, as it is our only stun that hits the big epics.

Blessed weapon works with all upcoming procs. All upgrades of it can be cast at the same time, the different upgrades/traits does not stack with themselves, but they stack with blessed weapon (most likely since its a "Faith" skill that deals divine dmg instead of DZ/ disease). I did use blessed weapon for a while at lvl 50 and it worked, but at that level those ~100 proc dmg didn't really do much differance so im normally using malevolent circle for the added defense instead, which makes no concentration points left to blessed. I think that Blessed weapon is the best coise you can pick for a T2 spell in the terms of how long you can use it, but im not really sure if its worth it if you are low on cash.

Blessed could definitely be on the list if wanted. It stacks with Grim Harbinger as stated and it's not a bad choice at all if your on offence and not MT. If your MT you should be using Zarn's Deadly Aura,Lucans Pact, Knight Stance type abilities. Combined with Ancient Pledge/Contract of Shadows that should have you at 4 concentration usually leaving one point for Blessed Weapon/Grim Harbinger. I have before forgone all defense while not MT'ing and didn't regret it at all. Hell 2 one in twenty procs are better than two. =P
