is this spell currently working? i haven't noticed it "go off" yet. in fact, ive seen blessed weapon activate periodically but not this. what message does one get when it triggers? does it have the lightning effect that blessed weapon does? if it doesn't that could explain why i may have been missing the effect occuring. i notice the 2 spells stack in my spell window, but now i wonder if maybe one is cancelling the other out. <div></div>

I could swear I have seen it go off but now I'll try paying attention to it. I have seen blessed weapon go off during when I had both spells stacked for certain. Now I'm only using Harbinger so when I find out I'll let you know.

i tried removing blessed weapon just to look for grim's going off and i have yet to see it. i could just be that in all my time playing last night that i never got that 5% chance with every hit lol. <div></div>

<P>Ok confirmed for one part. With just Grim Harbinger at Adept 1, I was proccing usually one to two times during longer fights. I'm using a relatively slow weapon as well (one of the Executioners Axes). I will give it another shot with Blessed Weapon and Grim Harbinger to see if that's it. Mind you if you group a lot, fights are over pretty quick sometimes and with a slow weapon you may never see it. I duo with my wife every day but for the purposes of testing this I went solo on some Dragoon Sentinels in Nek Forest and it seemed to work fine. Just keep in mind it's only a 5% proc chance. The best suggestion is to log your battle data, open it and search for the word "grim". It basically said " Your Grim Harbinger hits yada yada for xx damage".</P> <P>I'll try it with both stacked and get back to you again.</P> <P>Kaz</P>

hmmm, i still havent seen this trigger. however, i do see blessed go off. i guess i need to upgrade grim's to something higher than app 4 in order to get this to work. is it worth doing so? <div></div>

ok, i FINALLY saw this trigger. it happened ONCE. it said "grim harbinger did so and so dmg to so and so mob". there was a spell effect but it wasn't the lightning bolt that shoots out like blessed weapon; it was more of a thunder with a blue flash thing. i almost didnt notice it came from me. <div></div>

Ok, finally got it. I had both spells on at the same time and had them go off within seconds of each other. Not sure what's happeneing, I hope it's not just a case of bad luck. They are both on a 5% chance to proc but to be honest I see them go off several times per battle. Was testing them out duoing Nightfall Giants. Wish I could help out more.

<DIV>And to answer the question about the upgrade, from my point of view it's worth it but I'm actually seeing the effects of mine. The upgrades only allow more damage not a higher chance to proc unfortunately. At least that's how it is at the Adept level, someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.</DIV>

kinda like when blessed goes off, the target gets that blue shadow aroound it, well, grim har has a red aura that bounces around the target, i get it to proc all the time, i have adept 1, and once or twice on a long fight, not at all on shorter fights, but, unless i see my health dropping i'll just let my swordwork do the dancing and leave my spells alone.
