Using a Ghoulbane currently at level 40.  Is still a decent weapon at that level, can prob use it for a few more levels before I need to hunt for a replacement.   It's a long quest though so might not be an option for you. <div></div>

I am 42 and the 1h sword that is use is Icen Guard Langseax, at 42 it is still orange to me and has some good stats.

<P>What you really want at level 40 is a hardened metallic hammer it will last ya 40-prismatic. great proc awesome stats. Tiny bit hard to get ahold of.</P>
