Tainted Essences from bank - no more?

At level 26 you get the spell(Tainted Sacrament) to summon a pet. The essences is only required to actually create the pet. If you have essences just cast the spell while fighting a mob and some 'blobby' thing pops up and assist you in the fight and dissapears when fight is over.

While convenient, I don't believe that it was ever intended to be used from a bank slot.

<P>This has always worked kind of funky.  It used to take essences out of a house vault of *another character of mine* rather than the essences I had on hand.  Very very strange.</P>

I had to make a run to the bank to grab a stack.  Although now that I think of it, isn't there a bank HUD command to grab stuff from your bank whereever you are?

I don't use either of the HUD commands, so I am really the wrong person to ask.  But I have heard you can check (but not buy from) the broker and check your bank (and maybe grab stuff) from whereever you are in Norrath.

<P>The Hud command to check the broker and your bank from anywhere was nerfed back around LU#5.  Yes, it is true that we have to now carry our essences with us.  But, I'll take that trade off now that essences only goto us, and you can get a stack of 50 within a quick 30 minute fighting spree, never running out anyhow.  It did surprise me when I saw the messege "component missing" and I knew I had over 200 in the bank still, LOL <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P> </P>

But the same night I saw the "missing component" notice I realized I was not getting essences as frequently as I used to. Anyone else notice this? Or is the fact tainted caress is grey to me at 32 part of the problem fighting yellow/orange con MOBs? Last night, casting every fight, I only received ~25 in 2 hours of fighting. It has been suggested elsewhere, but bears mentioning here as well.  Go to Bloodskull Valley solo and farm your brains out.  After you kill General Drull, the waves of low hp orcs are replaced by (x2) orcs.  Take off Harbinger and just whack em down.  I get about 200 before my guildies beg me to stop spamming /gu with "Ravenously defeats a Bloodskull in a heroic fight!"
