<DIV>The one thing that really bugs me about EQ2 is the lack of an autoattack command.  Well, I figured one out.  Three spell lines of ours turn on autoattack, one has a 10 sec recast and two have a 20.  So here it goes:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Line 1</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/: ; assist name ; useability Painbringer</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Line 2 </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/: ; assist name ; useability Grim Sword</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Line 3</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/: ; assist name ; useability Righteous Blow</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Basically a blank emote, assist and autoattack spell separated by semi colons.  I usually have to press it twice before it will fire.  Also, only works short ranged.  Any improvements, let me know.</DIV>

<DIV>Implied targeting more or less removed the need for that.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I just bind my autoattack key to Q, for easy access. No reason to waste a hotbar spot.</DIV>

<P>I despise implied targetting.  I have seen MTs that tab around during combat, I guess to check all mobs are on them.  And MTs that have to chase after a mob they lost agro on but that wasn't their primary target, don't need the added complication of everyone wailing on it.</P> <P>Asthetically, I want the mob in my target box, not my target of target box.  Plus, when I tried to just keep the MT targetted, I would stay in combat and get spammed with combat warnings after every fight instead of putting my weapons away.</P>

For that very reason I also bind Assist to my E key.

Hence the term, "main <EM><U>assist.</U></EM>"</DIV>

<DIV>The groups I am in don't have a separate MA, the MT is MA and if there was a separate MA, it'd be me.</DIV>
