<DIV>Been finding latle that stacking issues with 2 sk's in the group sucks. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Do spells start to stack, or over wright when both sk's are the same lvl, ie both 50?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Dreadfule Wrath is the worst, 48 sk and me at 45 and I can't use it =/</DIV>

<P>This is a common issue whenever you have two of any class in the same group. I suspect that this is intentional to encourage more diversity in grouping.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

<DIV>If it is intentional, the effect is not good for raiding guilds with two sks, and really discourages guilds from having more than one sk. I'm in a guild with 2 sks - before I got 50, my Dreadful Wrath would never land because it was always trumped by the higher level SK who also cast it on the same mobs - he could cast his to overwrite mine and do damage, but then I couldn't cast mine again until the effect of his wore off, which is a significant loss of damage from our highest dps spell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now, because we are both 50 and I have Master 1 of Dreadful Wrath and he has Adept 3, he can't cast on top of mine.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There are several other spells with this same problem.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't think this is good for our class at all. There shouldn't be a disincentive for raiding guilds to have two (or more) sks.</DIV>

If you look at things that way it discourages raiding guilds from having more than one of any class, not just shadowknights. Any spell that has a DOT, HOT, ward, buff, or debuff, will not stack with another of the same type cast by the same class.
<DIV>The annoying problem is an sk going into an epic encounter you already cant use Kick of Slam, add in no pet (or having to go with the blob instead of bird because suprise suprise they dont stack either) as well as dreadful wrath means that the 2nd sk is being fairworthless and doesnt even have button mashing goodness, and god forbid they say no AEs baleful smite comes off and your left mostly with skills on a 20 second timer.</DIV>

I understand why they wouldn't want the snare part of Dreadful Wrath to stack, but the main benefit of that spell at a raid is doing about 500 damage every 10 secs - the snare part is not important at all, only the damage. I wish they had a way to make the snare not stack but allow both SKs to do damage with the spell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And thank you for pointing out that 2 sks cannot cast our good pet on the same mob either, when I cast mine the other sk's pet poofs etc. I note that mage classes don't have this pet stacking problem, any idea why we do?</DIV>

A spiked boot adept 3 or master will do more damage than an adept 1 soulrend. Your newbie shield bash will rarely inflict damage but it adds hate. It's better than nothing. edit:spelling</span><div></div><p>Message Edited by Androids on <span class=date_text>05-02-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:35 PM</span>

Mage (and any other class for that matter) DOTs don't stack either. Two wizards in the same group will have just as many problems as two Shadowknights. This is not a problem unique to us, it's just the way things are in EQ2. They obviously don't want there to be two of any class in the same group.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

They need to fix it. EQ1, same dots by same classes do stack together for damage on mobs. They also can stack their pets on mobs as well. Why can't EQ2 do that? Need to fix that. It's just rather silly to restrict 1 dreadful wrath at any given time no matter how many SKs in the raid.
