Tainted Sacrament Problem

Im a 32 SK leveling on EL and Feerrott atm  ,have a couple of tainted souls in my Inventory and always cast  Tainted Caress but it tellls me every time component missing when i try to use Tainted Sacrament that sucks really pease let us cast the pet without drawing the essence of mob or let this spell draw it that sucks really <div></div>

The componant you should have in your inventory is a black stone called "Tainted Essence".  You get these by casting Tainted Caress and then it occasionally procs on the mob.  You will see the message "You writhe in Agony" when it procs.  Once you have the rocks in your inventory, then you can cast tainted sacrament.   Mine was working fine today.

<P>Mine (cursed) was working fine yesterday.  I swear it broke for a day though.  After 3 hours of farming a certain named, I had a full stack.  Was getting about 5 essences per cast and the named only needed one pet.  I am up to 134 essences now LOL.</P> <P>Some people recommend casting it to pull, but I really only cast it on mobs that are going to be alive for the full minute like reds and nameds.</P>

The way the essense spells work is a little odd due to the changes they made so that only the caster gets the essences.  You cast the spell on a specific mob, it resist checks against that mob, but it places the buff on you, not the mob.  IE you can cast it on the first mob while fighting a group of mobs and even after the one you initially cast it on dies, if the buff has not worn off yet, you will keep procing it on anything else you attack.  Just thought I would share that tidbit of information.  Also I would really like to see the resist check removed when casting our pets.  Its really irritating to have a mob resist the pet spell and then have to wait for the refresh to try again.  We are summoning a minion, the mobs resist check should not have any effect.  The only reason we have to have a target to cast is because its an encounter based pet and not a true pet.

Just a suggestion, but I collect anywhere from 100-200 essense at a time in Bloodskull valley(the group x4 raid mobs that spawn have gallons of hps)  They dont resist my spells, and I can mellee away on them with a fast weapon and not worry about dying.  Grab urself a fast weapon, cast spell, and watch a movie, every 30 secs or so depress key to cast again.  Poof u have a ton of essense

Exactly what I do.  I dont usually go into Bloodskull anymore, but you can so this on any of the grey con ^^ mobs who have tons of hit points.  Usually whenever in TS I use the huge groups of ^^ giants.  Farming of essences is not really that difficult.
