Kiting

<DIV>Ok so I hear about kiting named mobs and give it a try and its actually quite fun.  Ive gotten a ruby and some other loot so far from doing it lol.  Its hard to find a group now adays so if somethigns around I will kite it for the fun.  Im looking for some tips on kiting and if anyone knows some good names that arent to hard to kite.  I actually heard someone kited tundra jack and iceberg  I tried him today got jack down to 50% but the bear kept hitting me every now and then.  So if you have any tips or whatever post them up.  (im not looking for flames about kiting and how stupid it is thanks)</DIV> <DIV>Timboi</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh im currently lvl 47</DIV>

<DIV>seriously, seems like someone posts about it in the combat section every other day. it's no secret. but it's also no secret other classes can kite. i see rangers doing it in permafrost all day long.  and i don't see a problem with it... it's not like we can do it without risk of death. i have never kite solo'd a mob and not had any risk. usually lots of death is involved before i get the hang of it... in general it is so time consuming and the risk isn't worth the reward.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i even tried it on kra'thuk in EF last night. sadly i didn't last very long. won't be trying that again. :smileyindifferent:</DIV>

kiting jack and iceberg is a waste of time takes about 50minutes and u end up with 2 adepts and 2 crappy items that are vendor loot. if you really want to waste your time you have to run them in a circle around one of those ice things sticking out of the ground or one of them will catch up with you and start hitting you for 500-1000dmg. <div></div>

<DIV>Like I said I really wasnt looking for flames about how kiting sucks.  I am aware that it takes a long time and the loot isnt worth it but when you cant find a group and are bored its pretty fun to do... so please no more posts about how its a waste of time just looking for some to share their experiences with how they did it and what they did it to.  And how did you manage to do tundra jack?  Everynow and then the bear would hit me which became a problem.  And for example I did the fire toad in lavastorm twice and got a ruby once thats the kinda info im looking for thanks.</DIV> <DIV>Timboi</DIV>

<DIV>Im a necro and in another forum there was a big topic on you guys kitting and htye said take a look here and i did. i know how it is not being able to find a group so i support you all 100%. if people dont want to take the time out to group with you then by all means solo what you want to you can get grouped rewards at least. Personaly a zerker tanked the named evil eye broxx and that went really well, so i dont see why you all cant get good groups, gaurdians are over rated.</DIV>
