View Full Version : SK horse. The Way it should be.

One thing I would like to see. Would be if we buy a horse and then cast the SK horse while riding the one we bought we would add 10% to the horse we bought... and cover the image with the SK horse image.

For that matter just covering the image with The SK horse one would work for me. Then we could buy a brown horse that had a nice run buff.. then change image to suit an SK.

I really like the idea of being able to impose our SK horse's look over our storebought one. I'm not sure they'd go for the +10% idea, although they won't get any complaints from me. hehe good idea btw!

yea or at guild lvl 15 u can buy an update spell for ure steed that make ure steed run 24 and at guild 20, 32% run and so on like the other whistles have at their guildlevel unlock...

make em cost as much as the horses so we atleast got a evil looking horse that can move faster then 10%.

Yes, Pidden has better idea. Upgrade steed with pp. So you can keep your horse graphic while increasing its speed. People shouldn't whine cuz they still can pay the SAME amount of money to get new horse with its standard graphic while we overwrite standard graphic with Sk horse graphic. Sounds like a viable approach to enhance our SK horse without [Removed for Content] off people!

It doesn't require guild level to do it so tho. Guild level horse only reduce in its cost. People still can buy horses without the need of any guilds but they just need to prepare to pay more.

Message Edited by Nocifer Deathblade on 04-12-2005 06:12 AM

I like the idea of having a Steed that slowly gains speed as you level, and in the progress changes its appearance from living, diseased living, dead-rotting to skeletal with fiery eyes or something....

The ghostly horse does not appeal to me at all, but a rotten or skeletal one, that would be nice.

It's staggering to see just how many posts have the word "horse" in their title. There's so much more to worry about. I hope they implement some manner of AA and grant a speed increase for the steed, just so these posts stop.

Given the fact that the spell is labeled "Entertainment," you should be damned happy that it has a 10% speed increase and is not just purely aesthetic as it should be.

The best solution would be to replace our horse with a fluff 'skellie' form that gives not benifits .. and place our horse a bit higher giving a more appropriate speed (32%). Our horse is fundamentally usless and is not worth the power to call it. People *$%#&!ed as was given at same time they received their 'fluff' and thus the change came about.

Personally .. take away the level 44 evac .. give us decent horse and invis, chaging our fluff to something usless like everyone else gets. Oh, take the squire if need the spell slot too -p And while they are at it, ditch the stupid sacrement line .. pulling out pets is fine (they are ugly, thats a dif issue), but requiring some component (only class that seems to require this) is dumb.

Message Edited by Tamian on 04-12-2005 01:33 PM

Don't see what the issue of having componet requirements, I have like 200 essecenses and I use my pet all the time. Cast essence spell when ever I am soloing due to the attack debuff (ain't great, but helps). Plus warlocks also have to get componets for their 48 pet spell Netheros.

As for the horse issue, I figure it is considered to be a entertainment spell, so don't have problem speed being only 10pct. Would like better graphics, something evil looking

V/R

Blackoath 29th Troll Shadow Knight
