SBS kite vs.Pristine imbued Cedar Kite

Which would you choose between these two in tanking raid scenarios? If the number on this <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=10&message.id=3900&view=by_date_ascending&page=1" target=_blank>page</a>I am learning toward SBS.Disclaimer: I am not looking to hear how we can't tank raid mobs; I know the issues with the class.

Depends, for pure proc'ing I would go with the SBS. Currently I am using the <font color="#ffffff">pristine conditioned oak kite shield and it doesn't proc enough to notice. If I had a choice between a 90-100 point proc or a stun I would go with the stun any day. The minor difference in Shield Factor between the 2 would be about .1% in avoidance which isn't much to worry about. Now lets also look at the stas, Int and Wis from the Elm or Str and Sta from the SBS.. hmm think we all know what 2 stats mean more to a tank, so the SBS wins out. Finally, for the aesthetic people the SBS does look different then the same kiteshield model we've seen since level 10. All in all, the SBS would by my choice if given one. </font><div></div>

i currently use the SBS and the only shield i'd take over it is kite shield of the king

I have the Rubicite Kite Shield and would never upgrade to the Kite Shield of the King Honestly there's more stats on the rubicite one and I have more use for an incombat HP Regen over an Out of Combat Power Regen anyday <div></div>

<DIV>Useing imbued cedar atm, mainly due to it being relatively easy to get hold of (rare + uncommon) when you factor in how much harvesting it takes to get a suit worth of ebon (harvesting everything in sight, got a few cedar boxes too) <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The hp regen would be a good target (more taunt for tank, slight easing of load on healers) although for the big epic mobs, a stun would likely be best.</DIV>
