Race and shadowknight

<DIV>Race simply does not matter in this game...  play to your strengths or balance your character, in the end they all about the how you play and grow your character.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I play a wood elf shadowknight level 39.  I focus entirely on agility and have not had any problems.  My avoidance at 39 is just shy of 70% and my accuracy for all attacks is quite high.  Wood elf is probably weaker in terms of fighter balance than dark elf, as our stamina or strength is probably lower at start.  But at 39 I have over 100 strength and over 130 agility, even though my stamina is just over 75 it has never been a hinderance.</DIV>

I have a wood elf shadowknight, makes no difference.  I like the look, and I'm not always crouching around in dungeons and tight spaces with my view blocked.

<div></div> Well certain racial traits do matter if you're into the whole Min/Max thing.  I know as a Ratonga I've chosen a few traits that add in additional avoidance/defense and agility that has increased my mitigation and avoidance skills higher then normal. I agree - I think with all the stat boosts you get from good gear, race does not play into it as much as, say, EQ1.  Play whatever race you think looks best.  *cough* Dark Elf *cough*

I like being a Kerra Shadowknight.  I look evil enough with the yellow eyes and black fur, plus I'm not as short as the dark elves.  I just picked the race I thought looked interesting and went with it.

On most servers, dark elf shadowknights outnumber ALL other SKs *combined* 2:1 or more.  Obviously, the stat difference isn't that bad if they're THAT popular. I'm a ratonga SK.. One of a whopping 5 on my server.  We kick butt for being the smallest/weakest.  I don't think you have anything to worry about <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>
