<DIV>It nolonger grants ONLY Bucklers. When I completed it last night, It gave me KITE SHIELD VERSION!! Knights in my guild got mad cuz they sold their bucker-type SBS to vendors. Heh. I warned them not to sell cuz it might get fixed. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It does give nice AC about 650ish at my level of 42. Impressive plus nice stats like 50 hp. SBS  now is very viable option for T5 against T5 shields.</DIV>

<FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#cc00ff size=2></FONT> <DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#cc00ff size=2>I got mine last night and was heading to zone out and go mount it in my room; when I stopped to look and see if the Brass Flash effect would be enough to warrant me using a buckler on occasion (on lower level caster mobs perhaps?).  I was totally chuffed when I saw KITE SHIELD and 700+ Shield factor, blowing away my greyed out Guard of Grumm.  In addition it does not have the stock kite shield graphic and the stats are not WIS & INT.  One very happy SK here :smileyvery-happy:</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#cc00ff size=2></FONT> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Brash on <span class=date_text>04-01-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:10 PM</span>

As with most (all?) fixed quests it's not retroactive. Only nerfs are consistantly retroactive. The kite version is new, and theoretically should be awarded to kite shield users, while the rest get the original buckler. I have heard that sometimes you don't get the appropriate version though. </P> <P>From todays test update message:</P> <P>- Shady Swashbuckler XVIII can now be found in NektulosForest.
