Tainted Essence in the Bank

<DIV>It could be my imagination, but while soloing for a few hours the other day, I cast Tainted Sacrament with almost every pull, not paying much attention to my stock of Tainted Essences, as I usually have a ton and keep nearly 500 in the bank, at all times, should I run low. When I went back to town that evening I noticed that one of the stacks of Tainted Essences that I had in the bank was missing, and the stack to the right of it had been depleted—I noticed this right away as I'm ana*l about organizing my bank space and this particular stack was in the middle of the top row of one of my boxes and I know full well I would never have left it that way.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My question is: If you're without a Tainted Essence on your person, but have one in the bank, will the spell deplete the banked store to complete the spell?</DIV><p>Message Edited by vwlssknght on <span class=date_text>03-30-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:24 AM</span>

No you have to have them on your person to use them. From what I understand if you don't use them eventually they will start to go away.  I don't know the longevity of them, so if anyone has an idea please post.

Actually, they will be used from your bank if you do not have any on you. A former shadow night friend of mine pointed this out to me and it does indeed work.

I've had several stacks of them in the bank from over a month ago that had never been moved from the slots they were placed in. The ones that vanished were much newer. If they were no rent they wouldn't last much beyond logging out.</DIV>

I don't have to lug more than a stack around with me at any given time.
